noens house

I wake up in noens bed. He let me stay here last night cause when we got back to the house last night the door was locked and Quinn wasnt home. I sat up and noen was still on the floor, sleeping. I smile. He didn't have to sleep on the floor, I would have shared the bed. He looks so peaceful. He starts waking up. "Hi" he smiled. "Hi" I laughed and walked over. He took my hands and I helped him up. He hugged me. "I would have shared the bed" "I know but I wanted to make sure you were comfortable and I didnt want to intrude" "you could never intrude" my phone vibrated. I let go of him and walked over to it. Q:where are you?
Q: Carter this game isnt funny
Q: ok, I'm sorry mom didnt let you in last night I was at Scott's house
Q: Carter answer me please
Me: sorry it's cool. I crashed at noens
Q: did anything happen?
Me: what ever would you mean brother?
Q: you know exactly what I mean
Me: no, nothing happened we didnt even sleep in the same bed.

Me: I thought you were cool with noen,  about him liking me or what ever
Q: yeah, but your still my little sister.

Me: was school canceled today?

Me: welp I guess no school for me, now pay attention

Noen read the messages from over my shoulder. "Wanna go? It's only noon"  "school? Well be fine" "ok" there was slight silence. "Wheres your bathroom?" I ask, I've never been anywhere other than his livingroom. "I'll show you" we walk out of his room and down the hall.  "Here you go" "thank you" "yep" he kissed my cheek. I watch him walk down the hall before closing the door. I do my business and turn on the sink.  I wash my hands and dry them on the towel next to the sink. There always a knock on the door. I opened it. There was an unfamiliar face in the door way "Noe- your not noen" "no I'm not" I Answered "are you like noens hook up or..." "no I'm not" I say in a slightly salty manner. "Well I'm noens brother chase" he held out his hand (Idk if noen actually has a brother named chase or not) i take his hand "carter" i nodded. "You a senior?" "Junior, what about you are you graduated?" I asked because chase was clearly older than. Noen. "Yeah, I graduated in june" "fun" well this is awkward.... "dickwad are you annoying my girlfriend already" wow. Girlfriend? That feels amazing. "Just getting to know my baby brothers bae" "one, we dont say bae" he started walking down the hall toward us. "Two, no last time you 'got to know' one of my girlfriends you ended up hooking up with her" he seemed kinda pissed, but he grabbed my hand gently and led me, not pulled me, led me down the hall. Shit. I've never dated anyone like noen. Wow. We get into his room and he closes the door. "Noen i-" he hugged me, tight. "I'm sorry" he sighed. "Why" I played with his hair. "I just, last time-" "noen i wouldn't do that to you" "that's what the last girl said-" "noen, stop, I've liked you for forever and just hearing your name makes me full with butterflies, why would I jeopardize this, us, you?" "I dont know I just, sometimes people leave, and they dont come back" "hey" I cup his face in my hands. "Its just you and me, forever" he blushed alittle. Forever? It seemed like a long time but I'd be ok with spending forever with noen.  He took my hands off his face and held them. He placed a kiss on my forehead. "Your brother told you I liked you?" He wispered. I remembered him reading my texts. "I'm oh... uh yeah like early yesterday, when we got back from the cliff" he smiled and rolled his eyes. "At least I beat him to it" "yeah that's for sure" there was a knock on his bedroom door. "Yeah" he asked turning his face away from me but still holding my hands. "Why arnt you in school?" A female voice came from the other side of the door. "We slept in, sorry I promise tomorrow" "we?" She opens the door and I froze. "Your Quinn's sister right?" "Uh.. yeah" "mom, shes my girlfriend" wow second time in an hour. "Oh, I'm sorry, ms.eubanks" "Carter" I shook her hand. She turned to noen, face dead serious. "You better be at school tomarrow" "I know" she smiled at me once more before leaving. "Keep the door open" she yelled from down the hall. I turned back to noen. He seemed embarrassed. "I'm sorry about her" "you dont have to apologize" I hugged him tight. "Shes alot beter than my mom" "I'm sorry about that too" "I'll be ok" he just stood there hugging for a while. It was nice. Really nice
