"What do you mean you've never played laser tag before?" America yelled loudly at Germany as they walked to a crappy looking arcade. Neon paint was peeling off a cheesy sign reading 'ARCADE, LASER TAG, CAFE'.

"I never have time to do stuff like this, I'm too busy working," Germany said.

"You're a teenager for christ's sake," America said in the same loud tone. He opened the door to the arcade and motion Germany inside. Germany was about to respond when a deafening noise reached his ears. The speakers were blaring shitty electronic music, which didn't help sooth the garish neon wallpaper covering every wall.

"Ame~" someone squealed at the two from across the arcade. There were the three other people they were doing laser tag with, Russia, Philippines, and Japan. Japan was energetically waving at America, her loose pink top falling slightly off the shoulder with these actions. Germany and America quickly walked over the three, and Japan practically tackled America.

"Good to see ya too, babe," America said to Japan. She purred and pulled away from America.

"Hey, Germany," Russia said, patting his friend on the back. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, I guess it has," Germany said, chuckling to himself. Philippines waved to America. The country returned the offer. Japan glared at Philippines, wrapping her arms around America protectively. The group fell into an awkward silence.

"Welp," America said, pushing Japan away from him. "We should probably start." The group checked in (IDK HOW LASER TAG PLACES WORK OK >:() and went to the room with all the laser guns and vests. A TV began to play a series of clips, with a poorly animated giraffe telling you the rules and how to play the game. Basically, you try and shoot peoples vest, which gets them out. The last one standing wins.

The TV stopped playing, and everyone put on their vest which had laser guns attached with a cord. There were other people than the small group, which included some people they knew, as well as a few random fourth graders. The door leading to the 'arena' opened', and everyone rushed through, trying to find a decent hiding spot. The arena was pretty big and with plenty of hiding places.

Germany hid behind a wall in the corner, which was near a few of the fourth graders. When his gun began flashing between purple and blue, he shot the fourth graders. They started screaming and complaining while making their way to the exit. Germany cautiously walked out of his hiding spot. He looked around, then quickly crouched behind a wall.

Was he taking this too seriously?

Yes.

But hey, he was having fun. It had been a while since Germany had gone out with friends to have fun. Maybe afterward they could go-

"It's over Russia. I have the high ground." (shroom is currently laughing way too hard at this stupid shit they just wrote)

Germany looked through a circular cut-out in the wall he hid behind. He saw Japan aiming her gun at Russia from a towerlike structure. She shot Russia, who grumbled away. Germany aimed for Japans back and shot. Her gun stopped flashing, and Japan shrieked angrily. She glared at Germany.

"I was gonna shoot Phillip, dangit," she hissed before walking towards the exit.

Nothing too memorable happened after that, just him shooting a bunch of small children. Until a message came on over the loudspeakers saying there were only two players left. Germany began cautiously walking around, making his way into the center of a tube-like thing. He felt someone pin him against the cheap plastic wall.

"A-America?" Germany stuttered. The taller country had on a playful smirk, which was bordering seductive. "Why aren't you shooting me?"

"Where's the fun in that?" America asked, laughing after the words were said. He looked Germany straight in the eyes, putting a finger under his chin. He leaned into the smaller country, closing the gap.

Germany had never properly kissed someone. He hadn't even done one of those awkward closed mouth kisses he had seen Japan do to America when they were in eighth grade. It was... well, it wasn't weird. It felt oddly passionate. Germany hated to admit it, but he liked the kiss. Their lips seemed to fit like puzzle pieces. Germany wrapped around America's neck, pulling his smalled frame closer to the larger country. After what seemed like an eternity, America pulled away, still connected to Germany by a string of saliva.

Germany's vest stopped blinking colors as America shot him.

Germany blushed in both flustration and anger. America laughed. "C'mon, let's go. It's just a game, anyways."

"You freaking kissed me, you jerk," Germany muttered angrily. America laughed and put an arm around the country.

"You did good," Germany blushed and ever deeper color at America's praise. He shoved the Americans arm away from him.

"Japan, remember?" Germany said. America nodded as the two walked to the exit, pretended nothing happened. When they got out Russia and Philippines both had a stupid grin on their faces, while Japan was nowhere to be found.

America coughed nervously. "What's so funny?"

"You know the TV was playing a live feed of what happened?" Russia said, his grin not faltering.

"Shit."

Eyyyyyyyy this was fun to write uwu
