Jennie opened the wooden door and allowed Taehyung to enter in ahead of her.

It was his first time entering Jennie's office, and he couldn't help but admire the simple designs laid across it. The building they rented the room off of was a commercial building that offered studio-type apartments. Ever since last year, however, it turned into a business central.

The colour palette ranged from a darker shade of mustard yellow to the lightest of browns. Botanical embellishments could be found here and there. The comfortable white couches placed adjacent to each other copied Jennie and Chaeyoung's work desks. The small lounge and main work space were separated by glass sliding doors with wooden frames.

A large window was in the middle of the wall of the office. Through it, you could see the skyline and the sunlight came seeping in.

"Make yourself comfortable on the couch. I'll take my laptop and work from here so you have company." She smiled once again. She walked towards her desk when she spoke.

"Chae's out for a bit, but she'll be back right about—"

"I'm back." A cheerful voice greeted. Chaeyoung unwrapped the scarf from her neck and hung it on the coat rack, failing to notice the presence of a certain man on one of the couches.

"Chae, we have a guest over." Jennie continued to rummage through her things. She couldn't bare to watch Chaeyoung making a fool out of herself in front of Taehyung.

"Hm?" The blonde looked around. "Oh! Hello!"

"Hi!" Taehyung grinned widely. "You're Chaeyoung, right?"

'He knows my name. He knows my name. He knows my name.' She repeated in her head.

It took all of her will-power to resist squirming in front of him. She turned her back, closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. She would be lying if she said she wasn't on the verge of a mental breakdown.

She was going to be a well-composed, business woman who was gonna welcome her best friend's boyfriend into their working space. She repeated her next movements like a mantra inside of her mind.

"That's me. Kim Taehyung?" The man nodded energetically and reached a hand for Chaeyoung to shake.

Taehyung's phone made a small beep. He smiled before reaching into his pocket and unlocking his metallic device.

"Uhm, my friend, Jimin, has to drop off something important. Right now." He looked up from his phone to see Jennie joining them, her hand wrapped around her closed laptop. "You wouldn't mind him coming over, right?"

Sensing Chaeyoung's state of shock, the brunette answered for the both of them. "No. Not at all."
...
Several minutes passed by until the door bell of the sizable office dinged. Jennie stood up from her seat and opened the mahogany blocks, greeting their visitor.

"Hey." She smiled and widened the opening.

"Uh, hey. You must be Jennie?" Park Jimin smiled sweetly at the brunette. His blonde tendrils falling into his eyes.

"In the flesh." She winked playfully as he walked inside.

"Hi!" Taehyung waved his hand energetically to welcome his friend and colleague. Jimin, already used to Taehyung's antics, high-fived the blue-haired actor.

"You forgot this at work, today." Jimin glared. He handed the bottle of cologne to the younger man. "You're freaking leaking everything!" He reprimanded playfully.

Taehyung smiled cheekily in the air. He covered his face with a throw pillow when Jimin threw his hand in the air in a hitting motion. When the purple-haired male didn't continue his threatening actions, Taehyung poked out two fingers into the air.

"That peace sign isn't gonna do us any good when we get sued." Jimin scowled.

"Love conquers all, my friend. We must have peace on Earth! I'm just doing my part to show my love to you as a friend and to show that I'm an advocate for world peace!"

"This isn't Miss Korea. Shut up."

"Jen, does this look good?" Chaeyoung called out for her cat-eyed friend, who has been standing beside the couch, watching the whole scenario play out between the two men.

Chaeyoung came out of the back room, her eyes now embellished with a pair of tinted shades. She just came from the closest Chanel branch to buy the newly released eye wear that Park Jimin collaborated on.

She stopped in front of the office mirror, failing to notice that yet another visitor was in their midst.

"It suits you." Jimin spoke up instead of Jennie.

"Really? Thank you." Chaeyoung replied dismissively. After tucking lost strands of her hair behind her ear, she turned on her heel once she took note of the deeper voice. "Fucking shit!"

She cursed instantaneously when she caught sight of Park Jimin-- the man she has been crushing on and admiring for the past two years. He was now here, in her work area, together with her best friend and her best friend's boyfriend.

"Sorry!" She yelled out just as fast. Jimin was flushed as he rubbed his nape. Chaeyoung, noticing, couldn't help but feel embarrassed and guilty for cussing.

'What are they? 16? For fuck's sake.' Jennie thought to herself. She looked at her boyfriend who was gawking at the interaction like it was the newest tvN drama. She reached out and hit his arm.

"What?" He whispered, his gaze still lurking on the pair who were rambling apologies and compliments.

"Invite them to dinner." Jennie replied.

"But, Jendeukie," He drawled with a frown, "I thought we were going on a date."

"It's still a date, Tae," Jennie chuckled at his childish behaviour, "Just with two more people around."

"But we won't get our alone time." He pressed on, much to his girlfriend's amusement.

"There's always tomorrow! Or we can just ditch them after a few hours and eat dessert somewhere." Jennie shrugged her shoulders. Taehyung grinned.

"Guys, we should go get some dinner."

"Dinner?" Jimin checked his wrist watch. "It's still early."

"Ah, my dear Jiminie," Taehyung stood up and flung around an arm around him, "You're always the one yapping about being early. Why don't we have early dinner then? Think about the sizzling beef--"

Their voices drowned out of the room. Meanwhile, Jennie made the effort to fetch her and Chaeyoung's belongings before dragging her flustered friend out of the door.
