Chaeyoung sighed dreamily as she passed by the school gymnasium. The venue has its doors pried open, welcoming anyone who wanted to spectate.
Chaeyoung wanted to be one of them, but she didn't. She has too much on her plate as of the moment— semestral exams were fast approaching, she had to finish an essay for class, and she had to write a book report for her club. Plus, she didn't really like what she felt whenever he was around.
Her hands always ended up clammy, her face would feel hot and she'd feel overall uncomfortable whenever Min Yoongi was in the vicinity. Her stomach always felt unsettled when happened to stroll by the music room and see him tapping his fingers against the piano keyboards, or whenever he passed by her in the hallway with a huge smile as he joked with his friends.
Ah, Min Yoongi's gummy smile was a sight to behold. It was a piece of art that deserved to be displayed in the most prestigious museum in the world.
Her heartbeat was erratic whenever he would flash her that adorable grin whenever they saw each other in class. She was beyond fortuitous that he was seated right in front of her.
Min Yoongi was a criminal— a thief, and even though he wasn't aware of it, she was hellbent on suing Min Yoongi for stealing her innocent heart.
"Chaeyoung! Stop gawking and let's go." Jennie Kim hollered. The shorter wrapped her arm around Chaeyoung's, whisking her away from fee-free sight-seeing.

"Wow. You really are a very artistic person."
Chaeyoung jumped in her seat. She hastily closed her note pad and peered at the voice's origin.
Finding out that it was the deep-voiced brunet she had a crush on, she felt stunned. She stared up at his twinkling eyes, then down to his frowning lips.
"Why did you close it? I'm sorry if I startled you." The frown still marred his face. Luckily, he was focussed on her drawing that he didn't notice how Chaeyoung's mouth hung open and how her eyes went wide at his presence.
"It's nothing, really," Chaeyoung shot him a reassuring smile when she recovered from her momentary shock, "And thank you."
"You're welcome." He pursed his lips, "Sorry if I intruded."
"I don't mind." She smiled even wider.
Yoongi took the seat next to her on the bench. The sounds of shoes tapping against the ground, the faint rustle of the wind, and the familiar growl of the vehicular engines out on the road filled the space.
While he was preoccupied, Chaeyoung took this as an opportunity to further examine his features.
She studied the way his cheeks puffed out and hollowed as he breathed into his hands, ridding his skin of the cold. She smiled slightly when his shoulders brusquely rose up when he shoved his palms into the pockets of his jacket. She gazed as he closed his eyes for a little while, energizing himself momentarily after suffering the whole afternoon under the scrutiny of the university basketball coach.
In contrast to his pale skin (which seemed duller because of the cold air flowing into them), his lips were a shade of pink. She stared at it for a while, wondering what it would be like to have her own placed against them.
She shook her head, getting her mind out of the gutter as she reached into her bag and handed him an extra hand warmer she carried. "Here. You can have it."
"What about—" His eyes widened in concern. He and Chaeyoung were practically strangers even though they shared a few of the same classes, yet here she was, offering the heating device like they weren't simple acquaintances.
"Don't worry about it. That's an extra." She smiled as she reassured her intentions by pushing his hand when he attempted to return the warmer to her.
"Thank you, Chaeyoung." He said sincerely while he placed his hands back into his pockets, "Say, would you want to grab a hot cup of cocoa with me around the corner?"
The invitation shocked her, but she shrugged off her thoughts when her delusional mind came to play. It was just a mere hot-choco-grabbing event between friends. After all, there was nothing that happened that could have caused Yoongi to have romantic feelings for her...
Right?
"Sure."
