~they aren't popular but for some reason the most popular person at the school (aka the idol) takes interest...

~they get into a "random" situation such as...getting locked in a classroom together and BOOM they realize they have so much in common and grow a liking to each other.
~but it's hard for the idol to come out because he has an image to withstand *inserts bad boy image*

~the idol has a girlfriend the WHOLE TIME!!!!
~the girlfriend is also popular (cuz that's how this works) and she hates the protagonist cuz, he's a bad bish and she's...not.?
~she try's to ruin him, the idol gets mad and breaks up with her, she then finds out their lil secret and tells the whole school but...at THAT point the idol learns to not care about his image and dates the protagonist...
~IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG, mannnnnn
~and they live "happily" ever after, go to college together, and that possibly starts book 2!
