41. Can you feel the love tonight

"Finally you made it as an avenger" I chuckled as Tony poured us a drink "you have such high hope in me, I see" he chuckled.

"Where are the others by the way?" I asked as he replied "they went their own way".

"What if we need them?" I looked at him "they will be there then" he smiled.

"I like your team" I smiled as he pulled me closer "but I like ours more...you, me & the boys".

"Talking about the boys, at what time did you invite Ryan & Pepper over?" I asked "any minute now" he sipped his drink.

"Love birds, I need a hand" Cindy called from the kitchen "you go ahead & help her, chef" I looked at Tony as he nodded. The Stark tower was in a bad shape & renovations were going on so in the meantime me & Tony were living at my penthouse "boys" I beamed as Ice & Jerry raced towards me it's been a while & I've missed them especially after that tragic incident last week where I thought I had lost them forever.

"They can't contain their happiness" Ryan chuckled as he & Pepper walked in.

"Mam" Pepper smiled as she handed me a bottle of champagne "I'm not your mam anymore, Pep" I reminded her.

"I'm habituated now, in calling you Mam" she chuckled as I kept the bottle on the table "the party is here" Tony mumbled as he set the table.

"What's for dinner buddy?" Ryan asked as he patted Tony's back "keep on guessing" Tony smirked as he looked at Ryan.

"Shall we eat, I'm starved" Cindy murmured as she lit the candles.

"Sure" I mumbled as I took a seat in between Tony & Ryan as Pepper sat opposite to us besides Cindy.

"Here's to family" Tony raised his glass as we all tossed "lets dig in" I smirked as I helped myself to the dishes laid in front of me, after dinner we all sat in the balcony that overlooks the city & of course Stark tower at a distance as Tony brought ice creams "I swore off dairy, but then Ben & Jerry decided to make a ice cream flavour after me so" as we looked at the ice creams packs.

"Stark Raving Hazelnut, cool" Ryan mumbled.

"Actually, this is my all time favourite flavour" I chuckled as Tony sat besides me "after me, you mean" he smirked as I slapped his arms "I can't with you, can you stop with all these shitty things on your brain just for a night" as the others began to laugh.

"Mr Stark is always something" Pepper said as we heard the door bell.

"Who else did you invite, babe?" Tony looked at me as I shook my head "no one" as Cindy got up & opened the door Steve, Bruce & Nat walked in.

"I wanted to talk to Tony about an upcoming project, and these two guys decided to follow" Bruce said nervously as he walked up to us.

"No worries, there's room for everyone" I smiled as Cindy blushed at the sight of Steve aka captain America & after what happened last week Steve was all over the news "I'll bring you guys some ice creams" she said as she walked towards the kitchen as Nat & I, hugged "I'm so glad to see you are okay" she beamed "all thanks to you guys" I said slowly as I smiled at both Bruce & Steve.

"Beautiful apartment you got here, Mam" Steve looked at me as I responded "thank you I guess, captain America".

"So, he's captain America & I'm Tony" Tony looked at me as we chuckled.

"Wow! An ice cream flavour after Mr Stark" Nat was impressed as she scooped the ice cream.

"I wonder, do you taste like this?" Steve joked as we all began to giggle.

"America's ass, you are just jealous" Tony folded his arms "because your a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" Steve looked at Tony as he responded "oh! well I am all those but I left my playboy status years ago".

"I can see why" Steve murmured as he gazed at me.

"Let's drop these conversations & do something fun" Ryan mentioned.

"Like what?" Pepper asked.

"Spin the bottle" Cindy mentioned.

"For that we would all need a drink" Tony added.

"I've a long day tomorrow, I can't be drinking...I just had a glass of wine" I said.

"Come one" Tony pleaded.

"You know, I've to fly to Malibu for the Stark conference" I reminded him as Bruce said "let's skip the drinking & let's talk about how far we know about the other universes around us".

"Yeah, that's a good point" Cindy agreed as Tony said "yeah, we should all share our knowledge about other realms" as Steve added "because we need to be ready" as we all sat down on the sofa, because after what happened last week we all needed to know what really is happening out there.
