C H A P T E R 27

Saturday
August 31st.

I woke up with Sadies head pressed against my chest, and my arms wrapped around her.

I turn around to check my phone and see a text from Leah

'My dad picked me up, see you at school on Monday, love ya :)'

I turn my phone off and rub my eyes.

Sadie was in the same position as I sat up to go brush my teeth.

After a few minutes of being in the bathroom, I hear someone knock on the door.

"Come in."

Sadie opens the door and gives me a hug.

"I'm sorry about yesterday." She says.

"Why are you sorry?" I ask.

She hugs me from behind as we stare into the mirror.

"I yelled at you yesterday about drinking and then I got really wasted last night."

I turn around and put my hands on her hips.

"I forgive you." I say as I kiss her lips.

We both walk back into my room and sit on my bed.

"So what are we going to do today?" Sadie asks.

"I am going to take you on a date!" I say.

"Ooo where are you taking me?"

"Uh I don't know yet, I'll be back."

I jump off my bed and run to my mom.

"MOM! I need money." I say.

"For what?"

"I want to take Sadie out on a date."

"I gave you $20 on Tuesday." She says as she puts eggs on Islas plate.

"I used it to buy us food."

"You used twenty dollars on food!"

"Feeding a vegan is expensive."

She rolls her eyes and walks to her purse.

"Where do you plan on taking her?" She asks.

"I don't know, maybe a nice restaurant."

"Okay, I'm giving you $120, after this, I'm not giving you anymore money."

"Okay okay." I say as I take the money from her hand and walk back into my room.

"Alright, So tonight I am taking you to a nice restaurant in the city, and then we are going to walk around and look at the beautiful city lights." I say as I jump on the bed with her.

"Aww y/n I'm so excited!" She says.

"Me too! Now go home and get ready, I'll pick you up at 6:30!"

Sadie's mom picked her up, and I sat in the living room with my sisters.

The door burst open and Margo, Zach, and Julian walk in.

"Hey bitc- oh sorry I didn't see them." She says referring to my sisters.

"It's fine, they've heard worse." I joked.

"Let's go out tonight." She says.

"Can't, I have a date tonight."

"With the red head?" Julian asks as he sits on the couch.

"Yup! I'm taking her to the city."

"That's adorable! So when you two are done, do you want to come to my house?" Margo asks.

"Actually I need to talk to you guys about that... let's go to my room."

I put Scarlett on the couch and we make our way to my room.

The three of them sat on my bed as I sat in front of them on the floor where the blankets from the night before were.

"Okay so, Sadie and I were talking yesterday, and she doesn't want me hanging out with you anymore."

"What!? Why!?" Margo asks.

"Because she think you're a bad influence."

"That's bullshit! Who was here first! Me or her!?" She yells.

"Actually I've known Sadie since kindergar-"

"Oh so now that she's your girlfriend you have to listen to everything she says?" Zach asks.

"Well, maybe she's right... I mean before I met you guys I wasn't addicted to alcohol, and I didn't smoke pot."

"Well that's not our fault." Margo says as she crossed her arms.

"Yes it is! Every time we hang out, we smoke and drink!" I yell.

"Well if you didn't want to do it you should have said n-"

"I think you all should leave." I say.

"Y/n come on, we'll stop drinking and smoking in front of you." Zach says.

"Do you guys not realize the fucking problem!? You are all out of high school, you guys should be going to fucking college or get well paying jobs! But instead you are getting high with a junior!"

They all start staring at each other.

"Now Please leave, I have a date to get ready for."

They all left by going through the window which made no sense.
