[pov sarah]

We were now back at my house, waiting for my mom to come over.

"Y/N?" I asked, taking her hand.

"Huh?"

"Are you nervous?"

"A bit, I mean you know my dad but I don't know your mom" she said smiling nervously.

"Like I said a thousand times, my mom will like you, don't worry okay?" I asked, trying to assure her.

Y/N basically jumped when she heard the doorbell ringing.

"Oh god, oh my god. What if she hates me?" Y/N asked, almost freaking out.

"Calm down baby, she'll like you" I said, then opening the door.

I took my mom in my embrace.

"I missed you so much" I whispered, wiping my tears away.

"I cam imagine" she said and looked over to Y/N.
"You must me Y/N then?" my mom asked smiling.

"Y-Yeah.." she barely got out and my mom laughed.

"Sweetie, no need to be nervous" my mom said and pulled her into a hug and pulled away after a few seconds "I'm Catharine"

10.07 pm

My mom and Y/N got along really well and that's great. We've been talking about all kinds of things and my mom had to tell embarrassing stories about me.

"You two are really cute together"

"Mom stooop" I complained laughing.

"You two are really happy huh?" my mom asked smiling.

"We definitely are" Y/N said and grabbed my hand.

"So Y/N, how are your parents doing?" mom then asked Y/N

Y/N looked over to me, then over to my mom "Uhm actually...my mom passed and my dad, well I think he's fine"

My mom pulled Y/N in a hug "I'm so sorry sweetheart"

"It's fine, she passed some time ago and I have Sarah now"

I smiled at that and took her hand, caressing it with my thumb.

My mom then stood up and smiled at us "I should get going now, girls" she said took us both in her embrace.

"Okay, I love you" I said smiling

"Love you too and take good care of my baby" she then said to Y/N

"I will, I promise" Y/N said smiling.
