(Y/n) strolled down the pathway, humming softly to the lyrics of the song. The young woman was both excited and nervous for her first class. Mythology. Don't get her wrong though, she loved the class more than anything but there was one problem. And as she sat down, (Y/n) hadn't realized she'd come in contact with that problem so soon. The second he entered, she tore her gaze away, afraid she'd have to face his wrath. Bellamy Blake. The schools bad boy that every girl wanted. The young woman completely understood why. With chocolate brown locks and matching honey eyes, a jawline that could cut a diamond and a body carved like a Greek god. He was the definition of beauty and his naughty nature only added to his suave persona.

The girls fawned over him, attempting to catch his attention while (Y/n) chose to keep her head down. He swaggered past her and up the steps. She couldn't help but sigh in relief but then that sense of clarity vanished as he nudged away the person behind her. The kid who had been sitting behind her previously quickly moved his things so that the bad boy could sit down. And in that moment, their eyes connected. Quickly, she turned on her chair and glared down at her notes. Don't talk to me. (Y/n) begged silently. When class started, she sighed again, thankful that the teacher could stop something bad from happening. Bellamy, on the other hand, couldn't keep his eyes off her. She was absolutely gorgeous. The young woman had this strange innocence to her that made the bad boy excited.

He couldn't help but rake his eyes up and down her frame. Tight high-waist black jeans, shirt tucked in and a jean jacket. Bellamy seemed to analyze her, no longer focused on the lecture at hand. He tapped the shoulder of the boy next to him, asking softly. "Who's that girl right there?" To which he responded, shakily, "That's (Y/n) (Y/L/N). Our university good girl." So this was the infamous 'good girl'. She wasn't exactly pencil skirts and perv related imagery that most have depicted 'good girls' to be. Though her presence alone screamed it. Her eyes were bright with wonder and cheeks warm from laughing at the joke the teacher just said. She was a jewel to be admired, all right. No doubt about it. (Y/n) adjusted her glasses, moving it up from the bridge of her nose and Bellamy couldn't help but smile at the action.

He hadn't realized that class had ended until he saw her racing out and away from the classroom. When she looked back at him, he noticed how much faster she'd moved. W-Was she afraid of me? Bellamy thought solemnly to himself. The next class session, he opt to sit next to her. She had no option to switch seats and was forced to bare through the tension. Why is she so rigid around me? He question whilst taking notes. So deep in the process, he broke his pencil. Groaning, Bellamy scavenged his bag for another. That was when a small voice coughed for his attention. (Y/n) had pulled out one of her many spares and set it on his notepad. "Thank you." He said, sincerely. Her eyes are so much prettier up close. Quickly she returned to the lecture slides, acting as if the transaction hadn't even occurred.

And for the second time when class ended, she stormed out faster than all the track runners at uni. Bellamy cussed under his breath, determined to understand his faults and talk to her. The next few sessions are much like the first, small words or phrases are shared but nothing is solidified. After class today, however, Bellamy was determined to catch her attention, even if it is a little lie. "So uh-" He says, stopping her from leaving. "I notice you take wonderful notes and, um.. I'm a little behind in class and I was wondering-" (Y/n) refused to hold his gaze, shoving her notebook into his chest. "Take them." Bellamy looked down at her with bewilderment before taking her hand and returning the book. She notices how soft his touch was, taking her by surprise. "I don't want your notes, doll. I was actually wondering if you could tutor me."

What the fuck is going on? Bad boy wants me to tutor him? This has to be a set up or something.. (Y/n) thinks to herself but can't form words for a good comeback. "Uh- yeah sure..." Bellamy smiled softly, another action that confused her. He's not to suppose to be sweet, what's going on? "Does today work for you? If not that's okay.. If you're open, I can grab us some food and we can go to the library?" She tucked her hair behind her head, nodding. "Um.. sure. We can grab some food now." The conversation grows gradually until (Y/n) becomes quiet again. Bellamy gets more from her in time but it hurts that he knows she wants to be in the opposite direction from him. He pays for their food and follows her to the library. "YO BLAKE!" Bellamy groans, not wanting to deal with this, especially right now.

"I'VE GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!" Jacob the arrogant jock screams. Three of his jock friends join in. "Look man, can we deal with this later. I have to go to a tutoring session-" Jacob is quick to cut him off. "No. Right here. Right now. I'm gonna fuck you up, asshole." Bellamy gawked at him with disgust, nudging (Y/n) behind him. "Not in front of the lady. Have a little bit of decency, man." But before Bellamy could put an end to the rising situation, things had already gone to far. Jacob sent a hard right hook to Bellamy's jaw. (Y/n) jumped back in surprise as one of Jacob's guy's stalked towards her. Bellamy was quick to get up and push him away from her. "Don't even think about it. Leave her out of this." Being the 'good girl' apparently had status because in no time, teachers and faculty came to take the boys away.

(Y/n) was quick to lift him up and take him to the bathrooms. "Jesus Christ. What did you do to piss them off?" She asked, patting his blood away with a wet towel. He groaned and hissed in pain before shrugging. "Honestly I don't even know.. Some of the people on campus just wanna pick a fight for status gain. Still in that high school mentality." She chuckled quietly. "Stupid of them to go up against you. You're a good fighter." He laces his hand around his wrist, gentle and soft and asks, "Is that why you run from me?" Immediately, (Y/n) casts her eyes down and away from him as he continued. "I noticed how you ran from me.. I'm not as scary as people perceive and I'm sorry if I ever frightened you.. That was never my intention.." The young woman shifted from side to side, heart fluttering at the sight of this cold figure turning soft in front of her. He looks so sweet and warm, it makes her smile.

"It's okay.. I'm glad you told me.. Communication is important. And I- I'm sorry for thinking you were bad without actually talking to you. Judging books by a cover isn't something I usually do.. Usually I'm better at that and that was rather close-minded of me.. Also.. thank you for protecting me against those guys. That was rather brave of you." Bellamy smiled at the statement and (Y/n) saw what the girls fell for. His grin was nothing short from perfect and she wondered why he didn't smile more often. It looked good on him. She stepped closer to him, cleaning the wound. All of a sudden, she slipped on her shoe and landed on his lap. "Oh! I'm sorry!" Just as she was about to sit up, he wrapped his calloused hands around her waist and smirked. "It's alright. You're right where I want you, doll." He pressed his lips to hers, nice and slow. "Why don't you and I get out of here and I can take you on a proper date."
