It's been 4 weeks of tutoring Zavon. Some days he's late, sometimes he's on time but he can never be early. He's just been slacking but he's slowly making progress.
Most importantly, I'm tired as fuck. I have to keep up with his rudeness everyday.
Today was Saturday so tomorrow I'm finally gonna have a break.
I did my normal routine as I waited for Zavon to show up.
When he came, he came with a guest.
"Aight, I'm here," he said as he sat down, Sekeena taking a seat right next to him.
She was staring daggers at me like I did something to her.
"Ok. We're going over where we left off yesterday," I tell him.
"Ok but-" Sekeena cut Zavon off.
"Can y'all hurry up please. Babe, remember we have a date to get to before the party," she said.
She was still glaring daggers at me.
"Here. Solve this equation w-"
She cut me off this time. "Oh Jeez. Babe, you don't smell that?"
She was covering her nose.
"Sis, your breath stinks," she said, staring at me in disgust.
Zavon busted out laughing and I looked him in confusion cause it wasn't that funny.
I rolled my eyes. I don't even know why he brought the bitch.
About 90 miserable minutes later, I was finally done.
I was the first of the three to be out the library.
"Wait, Jaelyn."
What now?
I turned around to see who called my name and I see Sekeena with Zavon behind her on his phone.
"What?" I asked with slight attitude.
"Come to a party with us instead of going home to study," she offered.
"No thank you. I'm good," I rejected it.
"Please just come. Everyone will be there and you just can't miss out," she continues.
