Song for this chapter: Life is worth living

A/N - this was meant to be up last Thursday, but I'm a bad person and completely forgot about it, I'm so sorry❤️

Gray potters around the treehouse for a while, in efforts to try and find some biscuits that he apparently left from his last visit.

"When did you come here last?" I ask, timidly. If these biscuits have been here longer than a few weeks, that's not gonna be good.

"Last Wednesday." He tells me and I just nod my head.

"Do you come here often?"

"Yeah. It's my favourite place, you know?"

"I'm not surprised." I say with a little nod of my head. It's beautiful here.

He finally finds the biscuits and smiles widely as he clambers over to me, jumping over the back of sofa to land next to me. Offering me some, we both sit munching on cookies as we watch the sunset through the treehouse window. It's so pretty.

"Open your eyes! You can't sleep in the middle of this sunset, Laz!" Cleo screeches as she grabs my wrists and gently tugs me up into a seated position where she believed I could sit and watch the sunset from

"Open your eyes! You can't sleep in the middle of this sunset, Laz!" Cleo screeches as she grabs my wrists and gently tugs me up into a seated position where she believed I could sit and watch the sunset from. This girl loved sunsets. She loved them so much that she'd read a website and find out when the ones with the prettiest colours would appear; she even knew a whole explanation as to why the colours were brighter than others on some days rather than other days. And she knew the exact meaning is the saying "Red skies at night, shepherd's delight. Red skies at morning, shepherd's warning," and assured me that this wasn't just a saying, that it was in fact so much more. In her words anyway.
