Another Happy Landing (Obi-Wan Kenobi x Reader)

Chapter 11: Sleep

I open my eyes and see Obi's laying down next to me, hugging me, I feel the similar warmth he emits. It is wonderful. I will never forget how he makes me feel.
I go to stand up but I notice that Obi's arm is draped across my stomach. I smile and lift it up.

"Where are you going?" I hear him say, still laying down, his voice is croaky since he had just woken up.

"I'm going to talk to Padme and Anakin. I want to know what happened." I say standing up.

"Stay here for a little bit longer?" I turn around and see Obi laying here, waiting.
Of course I can't help myself and I give in to his pleas. We lay there together until I once again fall asleep, this time on purpose.

"Look at how peaceful they are." I hear a females voice in the room, she sounds like Padme.

"Yes, if only we could do that ourselves." A male voice speaks up, Anakin.

"A Senator and a Jedi, not acceptable Ani."

"I don't like that they are free to express their relationship and we aren't."

"I'm a politician Anakin."

"Yes, but they are both Jedi."

"Just let them sleep in peace, they deserve it. I'm sure that the Force bond really hurts when they are far away."

"Yes, I'm sure it does hurt."

I hear them walk out of the room and into another one. I turn around and see Obi's sleeping face. I stoke his cheek with my thumb and I kiss his cheek. "Obi, wake up, we have to report to the Council."

"But I'm tired." He says opening one eye.

"Have you not been sleeping well?" I ask worried as all Jedi need to have good sleep as the Force can be tiring.

"Not really, I've been thinking."

"About what? You can tell me anything." I wrap my arm around his chest area pulling us closer together.

"I'm scared (Y/n), what if I lose you, I don't know if I can go on if you ever leave me." He then kisses my cheek and pulls me closer.

"You won't lose me Obi, I will never leave you." I look into his eyes and smile, "I can't."

He chuckles at the last comment and he takes the blanket off us. I sit up and look over at him, he starts to stand and I watch as he walks towards me.

"I get so worried about you, it's not funny." He says giggling has he stands in front of me, "It pains me to see you hurt, I can't handle it."

"It's mutual Master Kenobi." I say smiling.
Again I feel his hand grab my chin and pull it upwards, instead of Obi starting our kiss, I decide it's my turn. I cup his face in my hands and I pull it towards me. Harshly, our lips meet, I can describe it as a dance, nothing else.

Our kiss ends in time since Anakin and Padme walk into the room.

"Finally awake, huh Master?" Anakin chimes.

"Yes, how long has it been?"

"Well since you put (Y/n) to bed, it has been about 2 hours." Padme says looking at the clock on the room.

"Two hours!" I exclaim fumbling around for my ComLink, I get but then it lose grip and I start juggling it everywhere.

"My Lady, you seem to be having an issue." Obi says has he uses the Force to take the ComLink from me.

"No, no issue Master Jedi." I say smiling.

He hands me the ComLink and I tune it to the council.

"Masters!" I exclaim, "This is Lady (L/n), Master Kenobi, General Skywalker and Senator Amidala."

"Lady (Y/n), why is Obi-Wan with you?" Master Windu asks.

"I had to come back, when I did, she fainted. We rested." Obi says looking at Master Windu.

"I do not think it is wise to seperate us again, surely you have the log." I say to the Masters.

"Hrmm. Log, we have." Master Yoda says looking at me, "Enjoy the three day holiday, you will." Then the ComLink was shut down by the Masters.

"I guess this means we get to enjoy yourselves." I say to the group.

"I believe so." Obi says looking at me, "What would we all like to do?"

"I have to stay here." Padme says, "I have important work to do."

"Come on Padme, just one day? We haven't explored Naboo before!" Anakin exclaims looking at the Senator.

"Fine, I guess it will be fine."

Obi takes off the robe and leaves it with mine, "If I may ask Senator Amidala."

"Yes Master Jedi?"

"Where would Anakin and I be staying from now on?"

"You will stay with (Y/n) and Anakin will stay with me."

"Thank you." Obi says as he walks over to me, "Shall we go everyone?"

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Wherever the wind takes us." Anakin says looking back at Obi and I.

We get into a shuttle and Padme tells the driver where we would like to go. After a few minutes of driving we arrive at a club.

"Obi-Wan and I came here just before the pain started." Anakin says looking around the place.

"Yes, I do recall." Obi says to his old Padawan.

"Recall?" I question, "Getting old are we?" I tease the Jedi.

"Could say the same to you, my dear." He chuckles.

"I seem to have perfect memory!" I exclaim laughing at him.

"Whatever you say."
