Chapter 36: Orders

Obi and I have been given a one week holiday to get used to our marriage, my last name has been changed to Kenobi. Of course.

It's been the end of our one week holiday, we were sitting in the council with all of the Jedi Masters.

"(Y/n), Obi-Wan, know you both may not agree or want to do this." Master Windu says looking at Master Yoda, "We will be experimenting again."

"What..?" I say looking at Obi, "Again..."

"Why?" Obi says standing up.

"Don't disobey orders." Master Windu says, "Look, I understand why you both don't want to do this. The experiences you have had must be haunting."

"Do this. You must." Master Yoda says rubbing his chin.

"Look, I'm going to protect my wife in anyway I can, I still stop any danger that will come her way." Obi says sitting back down, "This is one of those cases, Masters."

"Yes, but we need to know if you are still Force Bonded." Master Luminara says, "It's the first we've had of this case!"

"We are in the middle of a war and you want to risk the lives of two Jedi?!" I exclaim slamming my hand on my arm rest.

"Yes, but if we find out that the Force Bond has been lifted then the war could be over quicker." Master Windu says rubbing the back of his neck , "Please..."

I've never seen Master Windu plea like this before. I've own him for almost all of my life.

"I'll do it." I say sighing and looking at Obi who is confused.

"You're agreeing to do this for a second time?!" He exclaims looking at me, "Why?"

"Master Windu has a point."

"Good, then." Obi pauses and shuts his eyes for a second, "I agree."

"Good. (Y/n) will be staying here on Coruscant with a heart monitor, since it's seems she's more vulnerable to the Force Bond." Master Windu starts, he looks at Obi, "And you, will be going to Tatooine."

"What?!" I exclaim standing up, "I'm staying here and he's going?!"

"Yes. You're more vulnerable to the Force Bond, it hurts you more." He says, "I'm sure Obi would want you to be safe at Coruscant with us making sure you're alright."

"Yes, I would prefer that."

"Obi, you will be taking Cody, Anakin and Hawk with you." I say looking at him, "I want them with you at all times, no matter what happens, understood?"

"Of course, my dear. But why so many people?" He asks smiling, he knows what I'm going to say next, and he knows I'm embarrassed to say this in front of everyone.

"Because I care about you and I don't want you to get hurt..." I mumble as the entire Jedi Council laughs at me shyness.

"And..?" Obi pushes chuckling.

"And I..." I pause and look at the man, "I love you..."

"Aww, (Y/n) I love you too! Which is why you'll be staying here." He says patting my head, "Okay..?"

"Fine. I'll stay, with Ahsoka." I say mumbling, "But! Always leave your ComLink on!"

"Always, I'll never turn it off." Obi says

"Pinky promise!" I exclaim closing my hand but stretching my pinky finger out.

He does the same but our pinkies intertwine.

"Alright, Obi-Wan, you leave tomorrow morning." Master Windu says, "Both if you, get some sleep, you both have a big day tomorrow." He says waving, "I'll tell Skywalker, Captain Cody, Captain Hawk and Padawan Tano about this. I hope you know Lady Kenobi that I'll be with you."

I feel my face heat up when he said 'Lady Kenobi'. Of course Obi noticed this a laughed, I shrug it off the bow my head, "Thank you Master. If it's alright with all of you, Obi and I would like to retire."

"Alright, it is." Master Yoda says smiling, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight Masters." Obi and I say bowing as we leave the Council room.

Obi and I walk over to our quarters and open the door, "I'm worried." I say to him as I sit on the bed.

"Why? What's wrong?" He asks sitting down next to me and putting his arm around my waist.

"What happens if something goes wrong? What happens if you don't come back quickly enough?" I lean my head on this shoulder and feel his warmth...

"It will be fine, I'm worried about you too, you know?" He says rubbing my waist, "I'm also going to miss you."

"I know, I'll miss you too." I say smiling.

"We should go to sleep, we have a big day tomorrow." He says, "Go have a shower, I'll wait for you in here."

"Okay..."

I take my clothes and go to the bathroom. I take off my usual Jedi clothes and step into the shower. I turn on the water and make sure it is the right temperature.

What happens if something goes wrong on this experiment. I really think that this isn't wise and we should be focusing on the war. Even though I had just had my wedding.
I just can't help but worry about Obi, I don't know how much the Force Bond hurts him. Master Windu says it affects me more. Why..?

I turn off the water and step out of the shower. I dry off and get changed into my night clothes. I brush my teeth and leave the bathroom. I see Obi laying on the bed with his eyes closed, he's sleeping, he looks so peaceful.
I walk over to the bed and sit down next to the Obi, I put my hand on his forehead and smile, why are you worrying? Nothing bad will happen tomorrow.

I slide into the bed next to him and go to sleep. I feel his warmth and his arms snake around my waist as I fall asleep...

Tomorrow will be a big day...
