Olivia stood in front of what must have been the most curious house she'd ever laid eyes on. It looked as though it had once been a large stone pigpen, but extra rooms had been added here and there until it was several stories high. Four, or perhaps five chimneys were perched on top of the red roof. A lopsided sign stuck in the ground near the entrance read, the burrow. She walked wearily to the house, following behind everyone else, not able to take in the entirety of the house in one glance. She was so fascinated and enthralled with the structure that she didn't notice the step into the house and stumbled in falling onto her hands- wand clattering beside her.
"Here, let me help." A kind voice said, Olivia looked up to see the youngest Weasley with her hand stretched out. Olivia took it- with her left hand- not wanting a repeat of what had happened with Bill. "I'm Ginny."
"It's very nice to meet you, I'm Olivia." She smiled warmly at the girl.
"I know." Ginny said, smiling back. Suddenly Olivia was knocked over again, but being clutched so tightly that she had no chance to fall. She looked down at the small, plump woman that held her and then back up at the group who were laughing. She was let go- dropped- and then the woman's hands were on her face, squeezing her cheeks.
"Olivia?" The woman asked, and Olivia tried her best to nod, but her head was tightly held between the woman's hands.
"Oh my dear! Oh Merlin! You helped my sons! My Bill, Charlie, and Percy!" She let go and pulled her into another hug.
"I-I'm s-s-so s-sorry, b-but I-I can't q-quite b-breath..." Olivia struggled to get the words out.
"Mom! You're going to suffocate her!" Charlie yelled, Mrs. Weasley pulled away from Olivia.
"I'm sorry dear, I'm Mrs. Weasley. I can't possibly thank you enough for your help." She smiled at Olivia, looking at her lovingly, and Olivia stood dumbfounded at her gaze. "Can I offer you anything?"
"I-erm, I'd love it if I could get back to the Diggory's..." Olivia trailed off when she realized she wasn't going to be listened to. She was ushered into the living room and given a giant glass of milk. She sipped it and stared into the fire as the rest of the Weasley's chatted to one another. She thought about what Hermione, Ron, and Harry had told them when they arrived back with Mr. Weasley. About Barry Crouch, and his house elf Winky. Of course she'd heard that Amos was the one who started accusing the elf of being some dark wizard, Olivia closed her eyes and chuckled slightly to herself at the absurdity of Cedric's father sometimes.
"What's so funny love?" A voice whispered into her ear, she jerked away and spilled some milk on herself from the action.
"Bloody hell-" she looked over and saw Fred Weasley's face, inches from hers. She turned away and tried to do something about the mess she had made. He stood up and strode up the stairs returning eventually with a towel and an untidy pile of clothes.
"You look bloody awful," he stated matter-of-factly and she looked down at herself, pyjamas covered in dirt and blood. He reached for the glass, "you go on, have a shower upstairs. Here's a towel, and some clean clothes."
"O-okay." She muttered, grabbing the towel and clothes from him. She climbed the stairs and walked into the bathroom. Seeing herself in the mirror she couldn't disagree with him, she looked terrible. She stripped off her clothes and turned the shower on. Feeling relaxed as the hot water hit her body. Not wanting to be any more of a hinderance she washed as quickly as possible and slid on the clothes that Fred had given her. Very large plaid sleeping pants that she had to secure tightly with the drawstring, and a very large red jumper. She stepped out of the bathroom and walked back to the living area, Fred was the only one there. She contemplated simply walking out the front door and trying to find Cedric's house but decided against it as she didn't want to offend Mrs. Weasley, or get lost.
She sat on an armchair and looked at Fred who hadn't noticed her come in,
"Thank you." She spoke softly, interrupting him from his thoughts. He turned to her and smiled, sauntering over her sat on the arm of the chair she was on and looked at her seriously.
"Now love, I just have one question."
Olivia gulped, "alright... w-what is it?" She spoke barely above a whisper.
"Who's a better snog, me or Georgie?"
She felt her whole face turn scarlet and she looked down to her hands in her lap. Taking a deep breath in she looked up at him boldly and said,
"You, but likely because we properly snogged. I simply kissed George, so I reckon I'll have to snog him to find out who's honestly better." She kept her face very serious, even when she saw Fred's face fall. She couldn't help but laugh at his reaction.  He smiled at her and looked into her eyes, she smiled back,
"Are you going to break up with Cedric?" He asked timidly. He watched as her eyes widened and she quickly looked down,
"Cedric and I are, we... we aren't actually... erm, well, you see, we..." she couldn't find the words. Should she lie, or tell the truth? She couldn't tell the whole truth. So what else was there to do. She cupped her hands around Fred's face and pressed her lips to his gently, trying her best to ignore the pain sprouting from her hand. She pulled away and looked deeply into his eyes wishing that he could read her mind, if only for a moment.
"It's just, very... complicated." She whispered breathlessly before turning and heading back upstairs, leaving one very stunned Fred Weasley alone in the room. She kept going up, floor after floor, until she heard some noise. She peeked into a bedroom and saw Bill there.
"Oh! I'm terribly sorry. I was looking fo-"
"It's an unbreakable vow, isn't it?" He calmly asked, motioning to her arm. She looked at him and nodded solemnly, slipping into the room and closing the door behind her.
"How do you know?"
"I'm a curse-breaker for Gringott's in Egypt. So I've come across my fair share of curses. But that-" he pointed to her arm, "is the first reaction that I've seen that's not death."
She nodded, "we made a promise. Ced and I. When we were kids." He nodded, understanding, she continued,"we only found out about it last year. And so we've been trying to... figure out what to do. Or if there is anything we can do."
"And I reckon that's difficult due to my brother, yeah?" He said simply, her face flushed and he laughed, "don't act surprised, of course I know he's fancied you since you started at Hogwarts. I've heard your name a lot." She remembered Ginny telling her she knew who she was.
"It's complicated," she heard herself say again, "I-well, this happens anytime the promise is even a little bit at risk." She lifted her sleeve to show him the angry red lines that crossed over her skin.
"And Cedric knows?" He asked. Olivia nodded,
"We love each other, just not... like that. But we made a promise and now we have to live with it. And, he's my soul mate. So it's not all bad. Everyone still believes we're dating... but your bloody brother. I don't know what it is, but he, well... Cedric's had a bloody hell of a time trying to Fred away from me." She sighed then looked up at the eldest Weasley sibling, "you can't say a word."
"I won't. I quite like you and don't reckon I'd like to see you die. But I'll let you know if I find any ways to break that curse for you."
She looked at Bill and pressed her lips together, "Thank you. If anyone finds a way, I'm sure it would be a curse-breaker."

"What do you mean she snogged you!?" George asked incredulously as Fred paced around their bedroom, "are you sure you weren't hallucinating?"
"Georgie, bloody hell, I'm not hallucinating. She snogged me... twice!"
"And then?" George leaned forward, waiting for more information.
"Well and then I bloody well asked about Cedric."
"You reminded her about Cedric, after she snogged you!?" George was shocked, "why would you ever go and do a daft thing like that?"
"Georgie, focus," Fred stopped pacing and looked right at him, "she snogged me agai-"
"A THIRD TIME!?"
"No! Hush up, I don't want the whole house to hear." They stayed quiet and listened for any stirring before Fred continued, "this was the second time. She snogged me and said 'it's complicated,' then she walked off!"
George was surprised, to say the least. She and Diggory had seemed so together when he saw them last.
"And you're sure this really happened?" George eyed his twin, Fred nodded his head energetically. "Well, I reckon we figure out what 'it's complicated' means."
The twins looked to one another and nodded.

"Oh, thank Merlin! Olivia!" Cedric rushed to her and wrapped her in his arms. She leapt into them and they held each other close outside of the Burrow. Cedric let her down and put his hands, gently, at either side of her face, "I have never been more worried about you in my life. I'm so sorry. I am so sorry that I lost you-" he looked up suddenly and strode over to Fred, pulling him into a hug. Olivia and the rest of the Weasley children's eyes widened in shock and Fred tried to push Cedric away. Cedric let Fred go, but held his shoulders, "Thank you for keeping her safe." He walked back to Olivia and took her hand and pulled her towards his home. They walked off together and she glanced back once seeing Fred's face fall slightly and his expression darken.
"Did anything happen to you?" Cedric asked after they'd been walking for a few minutes, she thought of her arm- it still stung.
"Nothing." She replied plainly.

Olivia laid in her bed a week later, her mom happily stepping into the room. Mrs. Wood looked very much like her daughter, brown hair, blue eyes, and was almost exactly the same height.
"Here you are my sweet girl," she smiled, holding a garment bag to her daughter.
"Erm- thanks mum. But what's this for?" Olivia asked, holding it up to the light.
"It said a 'gown' in your school list- so I've bought you one!" She beamed at her daughter,
"Oh wow... Mum, you know I could have gone, I wanted long sleeves and- why is it white?" Olivia had opened the bag and stared at her mother quizzically. Her mother rushed over and zipped the bag back up.
"Sweetheart, you're going to ruin the surprise for yourself. Don't worry about it until after you get to Hogwarts! And I did buy you a long-sleeved gown."
Olivia looked at the bag in her arms and then to her mother. Placing it gingerly on the bed and embraced her mother warmly.
"Thanks mum."
"Anything for you my sweet girl."
After her mother left, it took everything in her to not peek in the bag, but deciding to not make her mother upset by doing so, she packed it at the bottom of her trunk and put everything else overtop. She was ready to leave. Back to Hogwarts, she thought, another year.
