I couldn't help the confusing thoughts that ran through my mind as I sat on the bed, waiting a little while until it would be time for me to go home.
It was quite surprising seeing Todoroki showing up to the room that I was in, let alone the conversation that we had moments prior.
I wouldn't deny that I was expecting him to probably rub it in my face that I shouldn't be fighting. Probably because of what that Alpha had told me during our first fight.
Still, I was most likely expecting him to pity the state that I'm in at the moment. I did some serious damage to my arms and had a few cuts and bruises on my face. It hurt a lot but I'm trying to ignore the pain.

It's impossible for my standards to devalue so suddenly.

The faint sound of my father's voice was slowly drowning out from my ears as I continued thinking about the fights I had today. I was rather confident that I would be going to a good school but I was still a bit disappointed in myself. I couldn't win every fight anyway.
"Izuku, what do you think of your potential mate? An Alpha from a strong pack, the number one at that." My father began jumping me from my thoughts. I didn't have to register entirely what he said, the words 'mate' and 'Alpha' letting me know exactly what he had said.
