I wouldn't deny that I was surprised at the sudden warning that rogues had breached our borders. We had an increase of rogue attacks, yes but the last time we ever dealt with rogues was probably up to six months ago. The attack was rather large which was why our packs were merged even before Izuku and I officially mated.
It wasn't anything that we couldn't handle but it was larger than what we were accustomed to. A lot of blood was shed but that was something that one must get familiar with once they were a wolf and once they chose the position to fight.
Other rogues that we dealt with just wanted to cross our land. We let them since they weren't any harm to us or anyone else around since they simply wanted to cross. If they had started a fight, then it would've been a different outcome.
Izuku and I were running to the part where the fight was going on, having to sniff out the foul scents of the rogues first. I was somewhat at peace since I was able to mate-link or pack-link Izuku if anything was to happen. I'm certain that my wolf will not allow me to stray far away from Izuku, however, after hearing the news about the pregnancy.
I wasn't too accepting of the idea of Izuku taking part in this fight either but I wasn't going to stop him. I didn't want to make him feel that he was weak because I knew that he wasn't. It was just the idea of knowing about his situation and that was the part that didn't sit well with me. I would just have to keep an eye on him but hopefully, the attack isn't as large as I think it to be.
The scents of the rogues were becoming stronger with every step that I took, breaking me from my thoughts. The scent of blood was also strong in the air and I knew that we were close, especially after seeing specks of blood on the forest ground below our paws.
A growl from my left caused me to snap my head toward the sound. It was Izuku who had made the low sound and following my eyes to the source of his anger, my eyes landed on the sight of our own fighting against the rogues.
I couldn't help but let my eyes rapidly scan the site, having seen too many rogues. If I had to say and much to my dismay, this rogue attack would probably have to be one of the largest that I've ever seen. We weren't outnumbered but we didn't outnumber them either.
I didn't let myself stay on those thoughts for too long and lunged forward. Izuku was directly by my side, attacking a rather large rogue that was trying to hurt one of our fighters. He wasn't that much larger than me but he was bigger than Izuku and the fighter so I assumed that he was probably an Alpha rogue.
