Since the attack that was almost two weeks ago, it was quite hard to get Shoto from my side but it was expected after what he was told. I didn't know what to think about what I heard because I wasn't really scared. I just wanted to be safe to protect the growing being within me and I know that I would be safe with everyone around.
Shoto's rut was also to come either today or tomorrow and the pregnancy added to it was making him super clingy, even more so than before.
I finally got away from him today though because he was more tired than usual. Right now, he was sleeping as I did small things around the packhouse. A close eye was also being kept on me so I was basically banned from doing anything in the training room.
It was only three in the evening and as I was writing down the schedule for tomorrow, I had a hand on my stomach, rubbing in small circles.
I was only three weeks and a couple of days along, almost a month but a tiny bump was seen. I was certain that it was almost visible depending on what I wore because, for the better part of the day, some pack members were congratulating me and such.
Being both the Alpha and the Omega of the pack was quite hard but I didn't mind. Shoto couldn't do anything as yet since he had to avoid getting anything on his face so he spent most of his days in our room or would just be sitting around. I could tell that it was bothering him but I wouldn't let him do anything just like I wasn't allowed to leave.
"Since the number of fighters and guards has been raised around the packhouse, that means there might be less to patrol. I would join them in patrol but I'm afraid that I would get hurt and hurt the baby. Shoto wouldn't allow me to go anyway even if I'm with our members either..." I began muttering, thinking about how I would get this worked out but decided that I would work on it another time. I was going for the entire day and had to take a rest since too much work would put stress on me. Besides, Shoto had linked me already and told me to come to him but that was before he fell asleep.
As I was stepping out of our office room, I was met with two of the Beta workers who quickly ran up to me. It shocked me a bit and at first, I thought it was another attack but I put those thoughts behind me since I didn't hear a warning howl. I was still looking at them in surprise though because it looked like they rushed toward me as they breathed in and out heavily then bowed to me.
