A/N: there are a few chapters left... should I mass post or make you guys wait?

It took a year for everything to be at least halfway back to normal. Yukime and Shizuha were enrolled in the training school, both of them maintaining their statuses during classes. Teachers were appreciative to have the twins in school. Mina helped Sana with relief efforts, putting money where it needed to be, reconstructing the important places first, hospitals and schools mostly. Places for the sick and for the children to go and escape the troubles. Once those were finished, more money was available for villages.

Sana had done the math, spreading it evenly for every village in her pack until homes were rebuilt, and money was being flooded through naturally through their own efforts.

Momo was thrilled to have her family back, her son barely recognizing her when she saw him again. She held him as he cried, trying to get away from her, but she still enjoyed him. Dahyun couldn't help but laugh as she watched their son try and run away from Momo.

"He'll come around." Dahyun chuckled.

"I hope so..." Momo sighed.

Mina kept her promise, allowing Shizuha to write her friend back home. During the holidays, the family would visit Mina's parents, allowing Shizuha to visit her friend. Sana smiled at the young children all three of them playing in the snow together in the yard.

"Momma! Momma! Watch!" Yukime launched herself at Shizuha. Tackling her to the ground. Shizuha flipped her sister, watching her flop into the snow. Both girls erupted into laughter at their own antics.

"God were you that violent with Momo growing up?" Mina asked her.

"Oh we were far worse." Sana chuckled. "We were older of course, but she got so angry with me that she dangled me over the edge of a building from my ankles." She smiled.

"How the hell did you guys not die?" Mina frowned.

"It's really a shock to us both... Because I remember pushing her off a mountain cliff.." Sana mumbled. Mina stared at her mate with wide eyes, not entirely sure on how either of them made to adulthood. "Maybe because we're sturdy?" She shrugged.

"Stupidity goes a long way doesn't it?" Mina chuckled. Sana rolled her eyes, pulling her mate closer to her. She nuzzled her neck, smiling at her coconut scent. "Besides... I just hope the next one isn't this aggressive." She mumbled.

"Next one?" Sana asked her. Mina smiled, looking at her mate. "Another one?" She gasped.

"Don't be too loud... The girls will hear you." Mina whispered, nuzzling her mate right back. "But yes. Another one." She smiled. Sana wrapped her arm around Mina's waist, pulling her close to her. Her hands landed on Mina's little bump, a smile slowly appearing on her face at the thought of the two of them raising another pup.

"We're gonna need to stop repopulating for a while." Sana chuckled.

"Mmm... Maybe." Mina agreed.

When they arrived back home, Mina had felt sick, usual symptoms. Their daughters worried for their mother who was now bedridden in their own home. Shizuha would read her books to Mina, smiling at her mother as she read about three little pigs. Yukime would curl up to her mother, enjoying her company. They didn't like when their mother was ill, it made them feel uneasy.

After the few weeks of feeling sick, she started to feel like herself. Sitting both girls down and telling them about the new pup that would be in their lives soon. Yukime was of course upset about the new sibling, but Shizuha seemed excited. Mina was happy at least one of their children was excited.

"Another pup?" Momo chuckled as she walked down the beach path with her sister. It was still fairly cold, the winter season on the brink of shifting to spring.

"Yeah, accidental this time." Sana chuckled, shoving her hands in her coat pockets. "Maybe this one will be an omega." She shrugged.

"Or another alpha." Momo smiled. "Gotta repopulate." She joked. Sana pushed her slightly, earning a laugh from her sister.

"I'm just happy everything is kind of working out." Sana sighed. "Yukime and Shizuha like their new school, your son finally stopped crying when you hold him." She laughed. "And I'm having another pup." She smiled. She stopped in her tracks, looking out at the ocean.

The sky was grey, the ocean matching in a darker shade. She couldn't help but imagine if everything hadn't worked out.

"Do you think... the elder would be proud of everything?" Sana asked her sister.

"Our elder?" Momo asked. Sana nodded, looking back at her sister. "I mean... He's probably a little pissed we ruined the temple." She chuckled. "But I'm sure he's looking down at us, shaking his head, but proud that we stopped a war." She sighed.

"I'd like to think that... But part of me... Part of me wishes I could've seen the signs of war sooner... I could've prevented all of it." She shook her head, still trying to get the guilty feeling to leave her. Momo pulled her sister into a side hug, rubbing her arm.

"You couldn't have even if you saw the signs before hand. That man was crazy." She sighed. "Besides, you have a treaty with the northern packs like we've wanted for generations. Elder has to be proud of that." She smiled. "Sucks it took a war to get, and killing the leader, but hey, we did it." She smiled.

"Yeah.." Sana sighed. "How are you feeling about all of that by the way?" Sana asked while walking back with her sister.

"About killing countless people in that war? Or killing just that one guy?" She asked.

"Both." She asked.

"I have nightmares every single night." Momo admitted.

"Good, it's not just me." Sana chuckled.
