Dahyun sat under her favorite tree as she looked up watching the sun shines brightly
Dahyun sighed as she felt the peaceful atmosphere
Suddenly, a bird landed on one of the branches of the tree
Dahyun was resting under, that caught Dahyun's attention
Then flashbacks start to flow in her mind, as she remembered her one and only Sana.
*FLASHBACK*
Dahyun and Sana held hands as they peacefully looked at the sun shines brightly on the nearest beach they were as they sat on the white sand
"Look! A Bird!" Sana happily exclaimed as she points her finger at the bird that is passing by on them
Dahyun chuckled at Sana's cute action
"I want to be a bird"Sana suddenly blurted out
Dahyun immediately looked at Sana with a hint of amusement
Sana looked back at Dahyun with a wide smile plastered on her face as her light brown eyes darted on Dahyun's dark brown eyes
"I mean, if I were reincarnated after my death, I want to be a bird" Sana seriously said but still with a glimmer on her eyes
Dahyun smiled at Sana's antics
"And why is that? You don't want to be a human again?" Dahyun asked as she was curious about what's going on in her Girlfriend's mind
Sana sighed and squeezed their intertwined hands
"I don't know, some people are just cruel and monsters. I would rather be a bird where I can fly freely around the world away from all the hate" Sana softy spoke
Dahyun's smile widened at Sana's words
Dahyun thinks Sana is very beautiful and smart and kind and Dahyun falls and falls deeper into Sana
"And also, I would follow you wherever you go, to make you feel safe and secure" Sana smiled lovingly at Dahyun
Dahyun was in awe at Sana's words and smile
Dahyun feel loved
Dahyun feels so special when she's with Sana
"If that's the case, then let me fly with you" Dahyun's last words before she closed the gap of their faces as she planted a soft and warm kiss on Sana's sweet luscious lips
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Dahyun's dreamy state stopped as she snapped back in reality when the bird suddenly flew and landed just a few feet away in front of Dahyun's sitting figure
"Sana..." Dahyun mumbled
"Is that you?" Dahyun softy spoke though she slightly feel like an idiot for talking to a bird
But she is hopelessly hoping it really is Sana
The bird slightly tilted its head on the side as it looks at Dahyun
Dahyun chuckled at the bird's cute action
"You really did keep your promise on following me after your death" Dahyun softly spoke and she felt her eyes on heat as if she's ready to cry
The bird tilted its head again on the other side looking at Dahyun's vulnerable state
"Don't worry. I'm always safe and happy because you're always with me here in my heart" Dahyun points at her heart as she looked at the bird with a smile
The bird took a few steps towards Dahyun
A warm feeling ran through Dahyun's heart
"I love you, Minatozaki Sana" Dahyun softly spoke and smiled at the bird
The bird suddenly flops its wings as it fled and landed on top of Dahyun's head
Dahyun was slightly startled but she also doesn't want to startle the bird and fly away
The cute bird stomps its small feet on top of Dahyun's head
Dahyun smiled at the action as she remembered every time she says 'I love you', Sana would pat her head and responds an 'I love you too'
"Thank you for always staying here with me" Dahyun whispered and feel contented and happy as she feels like Sana is just here by her side
The bird flaps its wings again and starts to fly away from Dahyun
Dahyun's eyes followed the sight of the bird flying away from where she is
A smile flashed on Dahyun's face as she sighed in contentment
Thank you for everything, Sana-chan...
