I should've known from the start……

I should've known that this would happen…. again.

I've already warned myself….

But I still let it happen. Still let you happen.

I should've known,

I should've known that you would never….love someone like me,

I should've known where I should stand,

But how could I when you keep on messing my head, my heart, my everything….and now I'm lost,

Lost in those question that keeps running around my head,

What was I to you?

Wasn't I enough?

Have you lost interest? Or there wasn't really to start to? To begin to?

I was lost in our memories…short but valuable...

Stuck between the happiness, the sadness, stuck between your sweet words and the bitter truth.

Maybe I was only your past time…

Your soft blanket in those cold rainy days of your life…

And now you left me as soon as the sun came back to your life….

Because I was never, never been your sun after all…...but you were to me.

I was only your pillow to cry on,

The shoulder to lean on…

The hands to hold on until you could stand on your own again.

I was only your supporter. Your listener. And your friend.

I've lost count of the times I hoped and prayed. Hoped and prayed for a chance that maybe,

Just maybe...you would fall for me too,

But I was a fool. Too fool to fall in love with such a beautiful mess like you….

I should've known…

There was a knock outside Dahyun's house.

She looked at the clock, it was already eleven in the evening.

She frowned. Who the fuck is here in these late hours?

She groggily walked out of her room, neverminding the fact that she's already on her sleepwear. She was about to sleep, after all, it's not her problem anymore,

But as soon as she opened the door,

She stood frozen.

It was Sana…..

Her eyes were puffy, her nose and cheeks were red, and a sad smile plastered on her face.

"Hi…" She quietly greeted, it was almost a whisper, as if she lost her voice.

Dahyun didn't utter a word, she opened her door wide to let the Japanese woman in.

As soon as Dahyun closed the door, she watched Sana silently sitting on her couch.

She sighed heavily and walked towards her.

"Please tell me it's not about your boyfriend again" Dahyun grumbled, but her eyes were concerned.
