I think this was one of my best ones yet. It's hard finding Potterlock without hate on Slytherins. Just so yall know I'm a Slytherin and proud. Leave your house in the comments.

Johns POV

I nudged Sherlock's arm. "You'll get it one day," I said.

At the moment he was putting. "I can't do it, John," he whispered.

We had just gotten out of Defence Against the Dark Arts. We were learning the Patronus charm. He couldn't do it. I sighed. He looked at me. "Can I see yours again?" he asked.

We were near the forbidden forest so we wouldn't be caught by teachers. It wasn't like it mattered. Patronesses filled the halls of Hogwarts. At one point a huge dragon flew through the halls. It was followed closely by a swan. A Slytherin and Ravenclaw ran past following them. The Ravenclaw had red hair and the Slytherin had white, blond, green, blue and brown hair. They were laughing as they ran through the hallway. A blond Hufflepuff followed them, a rabbit followed her. After her Professor McGonagall chased them. "Ms Kall, Ms Willow and Mx White, please stop!" She had yelled.

Those three were crazy. Ivory Kall, Amy Willow and Alex White. Alex usually got their friends in detention. I had tried to use the memory of them punching Irene in the face after she had tried to kiss them as my good memory. That and when Amy cursed Anderson so his face was green for two days. They were a fun group. I smiled at the memories. I turned back to Sherlock. "Sure," I said.

I closed my eyes. Your most happy memory. Mine was the first time I made Sherlock actually laugh. His smile was true. "Expecto Patronum," I said.

From the tip of my wand, a silvery shape burst forth. A hedgehog took form and I smiled as I watched it float around. "What's your memory?" Sherlock asked.

I froze. I had a crush on him and I'm surprised he hasn't found out. "Um well, when I first rode a broom," I said rubbing the back of my neck.

He narrowed his eyes. "Lier," he whispered. I groaned. "What's so wrong about it?" he asked.

I sighed. "Nothing."

He gave me a look. "It's the first time I made you laugh," I whispered.

He didn't say anything. I turned back to him and he was blushing. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He waved his wand. "Expecto Patronum," he said.

A burst of light came from his wand. It swirled around and took the shape of a sleek mammal. I gasped. I looked over to him. He still had his eyes closed. I tapped him on the shoulder. He opened his eyes and gasped. "It's an otter," he whispered.

I smiled at him. "Knew you could do it," I whispered.

We watched as the otter faded away. "What was your memory?" I said not expecting a response.

"The day we met," he said.

I remembered that. It was the third year and my friends had abandoned me. Anderson was busy cheating on his girlfriend and making out with Sally, who knows where. Sebastian was hanging out with his new friend, James. I didn't blame any of them really. I had found Sherlock all alone and I asked to sit with him. I remember opening the door and seeing a Ravenclaw about my age sitting there. I remember him deducing me. I was so shocked. He seemed even more magical than anything I had seen so far. He's still the most magical thing that I know. We smiled at each other. We lay back and stared at the sky.

Six years later we were Aurors now, and this was probably our last day as one. As anything. We had been surrounded by dementors. At the moment we were hiding in the corner of the room. We had both been injured pretty badly. We were huddled together. I was lucky I was going to spend the last minutes of my life with the man I loved. I had never shared my feelings. We had never been anything more than friends. And now I hear the dementors coming closer I stopped. I couldn't die without telling him. I looked over at him and grabbed his collar. He gasped as I pulled him in for a sloppy kiss. He kissed back. When we pulled away I smiled. He smiled back. That's when the box hiding us was ripped away. We both gapped in fear at the dementors. Looking towards each other we brought our wands and together we shouted the charm. A silvery light burst from our wands. I was thinking about the kiss. And I think he was too. I looked as my Patronus took shape. It wasn't a hedgehog this time though. I gasped as it turned to an otter. Sherlocks turned into a hedgehog. I giggled a bit. We had switched Patronus. We watched as the dementors flee. I turned back to him and kissed him again. "I love you," he whispered.

I gasped. I kissed him all over his face saying "I love you," for everyone.
