Johns POV

I was sitting across from Sherlock Holmes. A man who Mycroft tended to refer to as the British Government. He was fidgeting with his umbrella. I resisted the urge to ask about it. It hadn't rained in a week and the weather forecast said that this good weather was going to continue. I had dragged him to Angelos. Mycroft had recommended it, well more like Greg did but he said it was good which was kind of the same thing. At the moment we were sitting in comfortable silence. The waiter came over to take our order. "I'll have spaghetti thank you," I said.

I turned to Sherlock. "I'm good thanks," he said.

The waiter nodded and walked away. I sighed. "You're just like your brother."

He glared. "How so?"

I chuckled. "Well, personally I've never seen Mycroft eat. I have walked into their flat only to see him passed out and Greg frantically running around. We learned later that he wasn't eating enough." I paused. "When was the last time you've eaten?"

"John that is hardly a con-" I put a finger to his lips. "We'll share mine if you're gonna be stubborn,'' I said.

He blushed. "Why are you doing this?" he whispered.

"Cause you seem nice and lonely,'' I said, smiling. And cute I added in my head.

He looked confused. I was still smiling. Then he laughed. Actually laughed. My smile dropped as I stared at him. Does he know how much I want to kiss him right now? He smiled at me. "Thanks. You're the first person that actually cares." he said. "You should really close your mouth."

I didn't realize it had fallen open. I closed it and looked away.

About an hour later we walked out of the restaurant. I had managed to get him to eat half the plate. Which was a victory in my book. We walked to his place. I wasn't surprised to see that it was huge. "Thanks for tonight," he said.

I smiled. "Would you mind if I kissed you?" I whispered. He blushed and nodded. I stood on my toes to reach him. He laughed and bent down to meet me. It was a short kiss. Well, that was until I grabbed the back of his head and pulled him in for another one. We pulled away, both of us smiling. "So I'm free Wednesday,'' I said.

He nodded. "Me too."

I kissed him again before turning and walking down the road. Boy was Mycroft going to be mad at me. Still, I landed myself another date with the British Government. I hadn't been this happy in years. Sherlock Holmes, you've done something to me.
