I know that this is supposed to be a continuation of the other one but screw this. An AU where Sherlock doesn't take John's bullshit.

"You weren't supposed to come back," John growled, pushing Sherlock to the ground.

"No, I wasn't,'' Sherlock said flatly.

Sherlock stood up and walked out of the restaurant. John watched him go, shocked. "Where is he going?" John whispered.

"Well you did punch him and push him around," Mary said calmly, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"He'll come back," John said and called for the check.

Sherlock did not come back. Not after a week. Not after a month. It had been two months. Sherlock did not approach John and John was still waiting. John hadn't even proposed to Mary. Actually, they had broken up. A mutual I think we should just be friends was shared. And they were just friends. John wasn't happy though. His thoughts filled with a person he thought dead. "Are you ok?" Mary asked.

"Yeah."

"You're thinking about him."

John groaned. "Yes."

"You should call him."

"I tried, he got a new phone."

"Go talk to him then."

"I can't do that."

Mary sighed and stood up. Putting her bag on her shoulder. "We're going."

John looked at her. "Where."

"221b Baker Street."

"What no."

"Yes," Mary said she had a fire in her eyes as she grabbed John's arm and yanked him up with surprising strength. "We are," she growled, dragging him out of the restaurant. "You will apologize to him and visa versa."

She kept the death grip on his arm as she hailed a cap. She kept it there as she got in the cap with him and when they got out and she paid the cabby. She waved hi to Mrs Husdon as she dragged John up the stairs. She threw open the door, scaring Sherlock. He let out a yelp and dropped his tea. The cup hit the floor and shattered. Sherlock looked at them wide-eyed. "Hi," he said quietly.

"Sit down," Mary growled.

Sherlock's eyes opened even wider and he hopped over the remains of the cup and sat down on the couch. Mary dragged John over to the couch and pushed him down. John looked almost as scared as Sherlock did. Mary dragged over the wooden stool that they used for clients and sat down. "Can someone please tell me what's going on?" Sherlock asked.

Mary smiled at him. "You need to say sorry," Mary said plainly.

Sherlock turned to John. "Sorry," he said.

"What for." Mary prompted.

"For throwing myself off a building so a sniper won't shoot you and not telling you I wasn't dead while I took down Moriarty's network," Sherlock grumbled.

John looked confused. "You jumped for me?"

"Moriarty had a sniper pointed at you, Mrs Hudson and Lestrand," Sherlock said counting on his fingers with every name.

"What?" John cried.

"You didn't know?"

"No! And what's this about taking down Moriarty's network."

"You think I just sat on my ass all day doing nothing. I travelled the world. Unravelling his web. I succeeded too."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"You tried to kill me when I told you I wasn't dead!" Sherlock cried, standing up.

"You left me!" John screamed, also standing up.

"It was for your protection!"

"My protection? I can protect myself!"

"I couldn't do that to you! I could put you through that! I love you too much!" Sherlock's hands flew to his mouth.

"You what?" John whispered taking a step towards him.

Sherlock to a step back, wincing as he stepped on the broken mug. He fell forward and John caught him. "I love you too,'' he whispered, placing a kiss on Sherlock's lips. Sherlock stopped working at that point, failing to respond and going limp. John rolled his eyes. "Let's clean your feet. Then we'll talk," he whispered, dragging Sherlock over to the kitchen.

They didn't notice the empty stool that now occupied the living room. Mary had left the moment they started yelling.
