Chapter 2: The Academy

Y/N POV:

I walk back to my house after my talk with Ozpin as he told me to wait a few days before going to a Bullhead transport to Beacon.

I open my door and place my weapons down before heading to the showers and then heading to bed.

Y/N: (I have a chance to get to Beacon)

I smile to myself a little and then think back to how I survived the Massacure.

Flashback

As the figure shoots her fireball at me I use my water to shield me with steam engulfing me.

Past Y/N: (Gotta run!)

I try to run until I feel pain on my arms seeing that I have burns all over.

I continue to push through the pain as I run into a forest smelling the ash and what I can only assume to be burning flesh.

Past Y/N: I'm sorry...

Past Y/N: (tearing up) I'm so sorry....

I keep running until I hear multiple growls around me.

Y/N: No...

I roll outta the way as 12 Beowolves walk out from the bushes.

Y/N: (I'm not gonna make it)

They growl getting closer and closer before leaping at me.

Y/N: I'll see you soon Mom, Dad.

Everything then goes white.

Flashback End

Y/N: (Why me?)

I start to silently cry into my pillow.

Y/N: (Why did I survive?)

???: (Because your the only one that can avenge them)

I sit up and look around to see where the voice could've came from.

Y/N: (Who was that?....)

Few Days Later

I stand to the window side of the Bullhead still confused about earlier.

Y/N: (I know I heard that voice before)

Y/N: (Just when?...)

I start getting frustrated on how I keep drawing a complete blank until I feel the ship start to tilt making me lose my balance.

Y/N: Ah!

I feel myself land on the hard floor.

Y/N: Ow...

Ruby: Are you okay?

I open my eyes to see the girl from before and a tall Blonde girl.
