Chapter 5: First Day

Ruby POV:

I wake up along with Yang and Blake as we all get dressed into our school uniforms.

I look down to see Weiss and Y/N still sleeping soundly.

Ruby: (How can Y/N sleep so comfortably on the floor?)

I try to wake her and Weiss up with a gentle shake only to get no response.

Yang: Here.

She hands me a whistle with a big grin.

Yang: This should get them right up.

I lean near Weiss grinning like crazy.

Ruby: (Here goes)

I blow into the whistle as it lets out a loud noise making Weiss shoot up fall off her bed.

Weiss: Ah!

She lands on top of Y/N making her let out a grunt of pain.

Y/N: Gah!

Ruby: Good morning, team RWBY!

Weiss: What in the world is wrong with you?

Y/N: Well, I'm awake.

Ruby: Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business.

Weiss: (getting up and brushing herself off) Excuse me?

Yang: Decorating!

Weiss: What?!

Blake: (lifting her suitcase) We still have to unpack. (the suitcase opens, spilling its contents) Aaaand clean.

I see Weiss not being as excited as we all are so I blow the whistle again.

Ruby: Aaaalright! Weiss, Blake, Yang, Y/N and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission!

I raise my fist in the air.

Ruby: Banzai!

Yang and Blake raise their fist next to me.

Yang and Blake: Banzai!

I see Y/N get up and yawn before getting beside us.

Y/N: Banzai.

Timeskip Y/N POV~

After getting my stuff set up fairly quickly since I don't usually carry a lot with me, I look at my scroll to see the time is 8:30am.

Y/N: (Got 30 minutes before class)

I try to tell the others until I see them working on making Bunk beds.

Y/N: (I'm sure Ruby has it)

I quietly open the door and head to Professor Port's class.
