The Book To Read When Your Bored

SVTFOE rants.

So, last night I stayed up till one in the freaking morning just watching SVTFOE. And I had a lot of thoughts and questions that my siblings just kinda like, pushed to the side. If you have seen the entire thing, NO SPOILERS IF YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS! I'm only on season three so I'm almost done. Oh Gods of Olympus what am I doing with my life. I feel like such an idiot writing a chapter on a kids show XD

Okay number one: OKAY SO MY SIBLINGS SAY THAT IT'S JUST BECAUSE THEIR SOULS ARE BINDED, BUT I THINK THERE IS A WHOLE LOT MORE TO THAT ON WHY MARCO COULD DO MAGIC! I MEAN, COME ON GUYS! LITERALLY THAT WHOLE THING WAS ALMOST IGNORED IN THE SHOW! I FEEL LIKE I'M GONNA BE DISSAPOINTED BUT I STILL BELIEVE THERE IS A WHOLE OTHER REASON WHY HE COULD DO MAGIC!! Also because it was really cool to watch and I need more of it.  

Number two: Okay can we just like, focus on how this show is absolutely NOT made for kids in like, everything that happens? I mean, I would let my kids watch Gravity Falls when their in sixth grade, but I wouldn't let them watch SVTFOE until their (at least) in eighth grade. This show found a way to deal with racism in a way little kids wouldn't understand the topic. Plus there is some pretty weird and (what I think) would be mentally scarring things for little kids in there. Also theirs the abusive relationship between Ludo and his family I mean what the heck is going on over there. This show is gold in every way I just wouldn't let little kids watch it. 

Number three: Tom? I mean, I felt like there was something I was gonna say something about him. But I forgot. Many of the fans might hate him because he's kind of the rivalry with Starco but he's actually my favorite character. Sure he can be kind of cringe sometimes, but I actually relate a lot with this character. Anyone else relate with this demon boi? 

Number four: Okay this wasn't really something that I noticed but its something my lill bro said. When we were getting ready for bed, my brother asked my sister. "Katie? Who's that emo person in Star Vs The Forces Of Evil?" And my sister was so confused so I took the best guess I could "Wait, do you mean Tom?" And then he went "yeah! Wait no. I'm talking about the girl who was dating Marco." Jackie. He was talking about Jackie. Idk why but the fact that he called Jackie emo was so funny. I literally just looked at him and said "Brother. Jackie is a tom boy. Not emo." and then he just went "patatoe patato." omg I was laughing so hard XD. 

Number five: The freaking seeing eye spell. I don't know what I wanted to say about it but can we appreciate the fact that Marco used that spell? I mean he knew bad stuff would happen if he touched Star's wand, but he did it anyway because he was worried about her. AND LETS TAKE A MOMENT TO REMEMBER THAT IT WAS AN EVIL SPELL IN THE FIRST PLACE!! THIS JUST SHOWS THE EXTREMES MARCO WOULD GO FOR STAR! I MEAN, COME ON GUYS!

Number Six: The Spider With a Top hat spell. Seriously. Why hasn't this spell been used more?? 

Number Seven: So One time I saw this SVTFOE animatic pop up on my YouTube home screen (I didn't watch it for obvious reasons.) it was one for In The Name Of Love (which I'm listening to right now actually) and I noticed in it Marco had symbols on his cheeks. So I thought "Meh it's probably an au someone came up with." then I actually saw the episode when he did magic and basically this was my head "OMG IT WAS CANON!!?! IT WAS CANNON??? IT WAS FREAKING. CANNON. THE. WHOLE. TIME." Then after the episode was over, I told my siblings "Uh. Why is no one acknowledging what just happened?" and my brother and sister were all "Oh its just because their souls are connected."  and so my head was all "THERE IS NO FREAKING WAY THAT JUST HAPPENED JUST BECAUSE THEIR SOULS ARE CONNECTED! THERE HAS TO BE MORE BEHIND THIS!" And I've basically been questioning myself the rest of the day XD

Anyway, thats all I can think of right now. There definitely will be another chapter on this.
