"If I wasn't okay with it, Would I even suggested it?" Cheryl asked.
"Nope," Toni said.
"Exactly. So we're doing it." Cheryl finalized.
"Should we ask her first?" Toni asked, caressing Cheryl's stomach.
"Yeah. I think so." Cheryl smiled.
"Delilah!" Cheryl called.
"God. They always want me!" Delilah huffed, jumping off of her bed.
She entered the room. "Yes, mother?" She asked kindly like she wasn't just complaining.
"We have something to ask you, So seat here." Toni patted the bed.
Delilah rolled her eyes, going to sit down.
"What is it? I was on facetime with my bestie." Delilah said.
"What Bes- You know what, Don't even answer that," Toni said.
"What is it?" Delilah sighed.
"Well, I and Toni were talking and we want to change your last name." Cheryl smiled.
"To what?" The small redhead asked.
"Topaz." Toni smiled.
"Like mama's?" She then asked.
"Yep. You'll be Delilah Melanie Topaz, So that way when your brothers are born you'll have their last name and mine." Toni said.
Delilah nodded. "What about mommy?" She asked.
"When we get married, which is a few months after the boys are born, that's when her last name changes," Toni explained. "So. What do you say?" Cheryl asked.
"Yeah. I'd like that. Can we change my middle name while we're at it?" Delilah asked.
"Nope," Cheryl said. "Gush! I always try." Delilah rolled her eyes, getting up to leave.
"Love you!" Delilah called as she left the room.
"God. We made the dramatic demon." Cheryl sighed.
"We? You!" Toni said.

"Are you excited?" The guy at the birth certificate place asked.
"Yes!" Delilah smiled as she held Toni's hand.
"Okay. Just sign here, then we can change it legally." He smiled, sliding the paper over to Toni and Cheryl.
Toni and Cheryl signed the paper as Delilah watched.
"Okay. What is the last name that you're changing it to?" He asked.
"Topaz." Cheryl smiled.
"T O P A Z" He spelled out.
"Yep." Toni nodded.
He wrote it down. "Okay. It'll probably take about 10 minutes for it to print, want us to mail it?" He asked.
"No. We can wait." Toni smiled.
"Okay. I'll be right back." He said, getting up to leave.
Toni looked at Delilah who was daydreaming.
"Whatcha thinking about, girlie?" Toni asked.
"Going home to sleep." Delilah shrugged, still staring into space.
"Oh." Toni shrugged.
After a few minutes, the guy returned with a freshly printed birth certificate.
"You are now, Delilah Topaz." He smiled.
"Thank you so much." Cheryl smiled.
"It's my job. It was nice meeting you guys in person." He smiled.
"Same here." Toni smiled as she places the certificate in the envelope.
They walked out of the place, getting into the car.
"I feel like a whole new bitch," Delilah said.
"DELILAH TOPAZ!" Cheryl turned to look at her.
"Yes! It works." Delilah said.
"The next time you curse I will take away your iPad," Cheryl said.
"Oh no. Not the iPad, I need to tell my bestie that my last name is changed. And plus its aunt Veronica's fault." Delilah said.
"Blaming it on Ronnie isn't cutting it anymore," Toni said sternly.
"Fine. I won't say another curse word." Delilah said, crossing her arms with a pout.
"Good." Toni nodded, pulling out of the parking lot.
