"Mama! It's my first high school soccer game!" Delilah said nervously as Toni drove them home from school.

"Baby, I know you're nervous but I'm sure you'll do great!" Toni smiled.

"Yeah. Lilah, you're a great soccer ballplayer." Aiden agreed.

"Thanks, Aid." Toni smiled.

He nodded. "I'm still a bit nervous." Delilah sighed.

"Hey, We'll be there cheering you on." Desiree said from her spot in the back.

Delilah looked back with a smile. "Thanks, little sis. And Thanks, Aid." She smiled.

"No problem." The two said at the same time.

Toni pulled into the driveway of the house.

"Cheryl isn't home, she's out with Betty so it's just us." Toni explained.

"K." They mumbled, walking into the house.

"Go change then do homework." Toni told the three little ones.

"Okay, Mama." Aiden nodded as they walked upstairs with their school bag.

Delilah sat in the living room.

"Hey, I'm sure your gonna do great!" Toni smiled, kissing her cheek.

"I know. But there's gonna be recruiters from the best college for soccer. What if I flunk in front of them?" She asked.

"Don't think about failing. Think about winning. And if they don't see how great you are, then they don't need you in their school." Toni smiled.

"You're right! Thanks mama! I'm gonna go FaceTime my besties." She smiled, getting up.

"That girl and her besties." Toni chuckled.

"Okay, I got everything." Delilah nodded, picking up her sports bag.

"We'll be there." Toni smiled. Since the game was on a Saturday, the kids got to go.

"Okay, later mama." Delilah smiled.

"Have a good day!" Toni waved as the girl walked to the school entrance.

"Make good choices." Delilah giggled.

"Make great choices." Toni smiled.

Toni drove away, shaking her head. Her daughter's growing up.

"Let's go vixens let's go!" The cheerleaders chanted.

Toni, Cheryl, Aiden, Caden, And Desiree found a sit on the bleachers.

"This reminds me of her first actual soccer game." Cheryl giggled.

"Yeah, and she twisted her ankle." Toni frowned.

"Aiden and Caden were so tiny at the time too." Cheryl said, ruffling Caden's hair.

"Hey!" He huffed, fixing his hair.

"WELCOME TO RIVERDALE HIGH'S FIRST SOCCER GAME OF THE SEASON!" They heard the announcement.

Everyone erupted into cheers.

"WE HAVE THE RIVERDALE VIXENS GOING AGAINST THE GREENDALE ROCKETS!" He said as the the two teams came out.

"Yeah!" Aiden and Caden cheered when they saw Delilah.

The game was in full motion.

6-5. Riverdale was leading of course.

Delilah passed the ball running ahead of her opponent as her teammate passed it back.

Once she was near the goal, She kicked it causing it to fly into the goal.

"YEAH!!! DELILAH TOPAZ EVERYONE!" The announcer cheered.

"Delilah scored most of the points this game." He said into the mic.

Toni smirked, "That's my girl."

After scoring 3 more goals. The coach called Delilah to sit down and take a breather.

Kate, a Riverdale vixen, kicked the ball out, scoring.

Delilah cheered from the sideline.

Once they let her back into the game, it was 2 minutes left.

"Okay, Lilah, we're counting you." The coach said.

Delilah gulped. The last time they were counting on her, Her ankle twisted.

Delilah quickly shook those thoughts away.

"You can count on me coach!" Delilah nodded firmly.

The coach smiled. "On 3! 1 2 3 Vixens!" They cheered

Kate passed it to Delilah, Who passed it to Marley, Then back to Delilah.

Once Delilah was in front of the goal, She took a deep breathe.

"Don't think about failing. Think about winning. And if they don't see how great you are, then they don't need you in their school." Delilah thought about what Toni had said to her yesterday.

"Ahhh!" Delilah grunted as she kicked the ball.

It was like everything was going in slow motion. Then... THE BALL WENT IN.

"DELILAH TOPAZ SCORED THE WINNING POINT!" The announcement cheered.

"YEAH!" Her family cheered.

"THAT'S MY GIRL!" Toni cheered.

"You did amazing, Honey." Cheryl smiled, kissing her forehead.

"Thanks mom, It's all about the practice." Delilah smiled.

Aiden gave her a first bump. "Now I can say my sister is a soccer ballplayer." He joked.

Delilah ruffled his hair as Desiree gave her an hug.

Before the family could walk away, one of the recruiters stopped them.

"Hey, Can I speak to Delilah?" She asked pointing to the redhead.

"Me?" She asked.

"Yeah, over there." She pointed a few feet away.

"Yeah. Sure." Delilah nodded.

She walked away. Toni and Cheryl smiled at each other.

"Let's go to the car." She said, pointing to the car that was a few feet away.

"You are such a great player." The woman smiled.

"Thanks. I've been playing since I was 4" She nodded.

The recruiter smiled. "My college would like to keep you in recommendation." She informed.

Delilah's mouth falls agape.

"Y-You do?" She asked.

"Yep. You have potential, kid. I like that." She smiled handing her a flyer.

"I hope you recommend us." She smiled, walking away.

"That did not just happen." The girl smiled.
