1st grade here I come

A week later

"Lilah, It's time to get up," Cheryl whispered.

"It's your first day of first grade!" Toni whispered excitedly.

"Yay." Delilah groaned as she stretched out her limbs.

Toni rubbed her stomach as she did so. "Come on, get up." She tickled her.

"Okay. Okay, I'm up." Delilah said, sitting up, her messy red locks everywhere.

" You're a first grader today!" Cheryl rubbed her back.

Delilah was not a morning person. "Go brush your teeth. I and Toni are going to pick out your outfit." Cheryl said.

"Mhm." Delilah nodded, walking into her bathroom.

As Delilah got dressed, Cheryl packed her lunch while Toni got fangs to watch the boys.

"Yeah. Just hurry back." He nodded.

"Whatever," Toni said, walking out of his room.

Once everything was ready, Delilah walked downstairs.

"Oh. You even brushed your hair back." Cheryl smiled.

"Mhm. I want pancakes." Delilah said.

"Here you go." Cheryl smiled, placing the plate in front of
her.

Toni walked in with the Twins. "Fangs agreed to watch them," Toni said as she placed Aiden and Caden in their high chairs.

"Good." Cheryl smiled.

Once Delilah was finished, she grabbed her book bag and lunch bag.

"Say later to your brothers," Cheryl said, grabbing the car keys.

She kissed them on the cheek, then left out.

"We won't be long." Toni told fangs.

"Okay." He nodded as Toni walked out.

"So. Here we are again." Toni said as they entered the auditorium.

"Mhm. My teacher is over there." Delilah pointed.

Toni and Cheryl grabbed her hand as they walked her over to her teacher.

"Hey ms. Topaz. Ms. Blossom. So good to see you both again." Ms. Jackson smiled.

"Same here." The couple smiled.

"How are the boys?" She then asked.

"They're doing fine. They're actually waiting for us back at home." Toni said.

"Then I won't keep you waiting. Delilah is in good hands for the day." She smiled.

"Okay." Cheryl smiled. "Be a good girl Delilah." Cheryl said.

"I always am." Delilah said, letting go of their hands.

"God. She's growing up so fast." Toni sighed.

"Come on." Cheryl said, pulling Toni out of the school.

"We're home!" Toni said as she and Delilah took off their shoes by the door.

Cheryl walked out of the kitchen with Aiden.

"Hey. How was your first day?" Cheryl asked.

"It was fun. Riley isn't in my class, Which sucks." Delilah smiled.

"That sucks. But, I made you your favorite snack. It's in the kitchen." Cheryl smiled rubbing Delilah's hair.

"Mhm." Delilah smiled, walking, well, running into the kitchen.

"Where's Caden?" Toni asked.

"He's asleep in our bedroom. This little one refused a nap." Cheryl tickled the 4-month-old sides. He giggled reaching for Toni.

"Oh so you want mama?" Cheryl asked. He reached for Toni.

Toni took him, grabbing Cheryl's hand as they walked into the kitchen.

Delilah was eating her cheese and Cracker sticks.

"Got any homework?" Cheryl asked Delilah.

"No. You just gotta sign some blue cards." Delilah said.

"Okay." Cheryl nodded, grabbing Aiden's warm bottle as she handed it to Toni.
