THE DAY OF THE QUIDDITCH MATCH

Everyone was buzzing with excitement. The audience were the following people: Alice Longbottom, Augusta Longbottom, Amelia, Anastasia and Susan Bones, Lyall and Hope Lupin too dropped in, Lily had got her parents as well and all the Weasleys who were not playing (including Percy). Dorea had surprised everyone by calling Minerva McGonagall and Filius Flitwick as well, as she knew the former was in love with Quidditch.

Remus and Lee Jordan were the commentators for the match as the former was a commentator when he was in school. They had already planned out the way they were going to do it in the morning during breakfast.

Then the commentary starts (Remus in Italics and Lee in Bold)

"Mr. Potter, the match referee has released the bludgers. Then the snitch was released. Fabian Prewett and Harry Potter, the two seekers of that match watch it intently before disappearing into the air."

"The Quaffle is released and Angelina Johnson catches it even before the opposing chaser can get any close. She neatly ducks the bludger thrown at her by Sirius Black by using the sloth grip roll. She along with Alicia and Katie are using the Hawkshead attacking formation. Angelina is pulling back. And Woah! The Thimblerig Shuffle is in action and THERE SHE SCORES! That goal is within the first five minutes of the peeps! Ten points to the GJT!"

"The goal keeper Gideon Prewett throws the quaffle to James Potter after retrieving it and the chasers of the GST are having a tough time going towards their goal, which is guarded closely by Ronald Weasley. They've attempted to score twice, but to no avail as the quaffle is always blocked deftly by the keeper."

Before Remus could continue, Lee's microphone blared "Harry has spotted the Snitch. Fabian Prewett is tailing him as fast as he could but is not able to catch up with him. Harry uses the Wronski Feint while attempting to catch the snitch while Mr. Prewett pulls back so as to not crash to the ground. AND THERE YOU ARE!!!!!! Harry catches the snitch and finishes the game just about 15 minutes after starting the match!"

Everyone in the stands cheer for the Gryffindor Junior Team. The Senior team were huffed that they lost but were happy that the current team were way better than what they were. They saw the spectators piling into the pitch speak to the junior team. McGonagall was positively beaming when she saw the current team of her house had won against the team she had seen as the best until now.

When she saw the senior team walk towards her, she spoke to them "As far as I had seen, you guys were the best. But now I have the hope that we're going to have a competition for that title, you guys." "Yes Minerva, you're right. We couldn't stand fifteen minutes against them." Said James as he saw the junior team celebrate their victory with bottles of butterbeer that the elves had brought in.

Just then, Harry walked over to his mum and spoke "Mum, could I have a word with you alone?" She nodded and the both of them walked to a secluded place in the pitch. "What is it, Harry?" "You know my best friend, Hermione, right? She's a muggleborn. And she thinks that we use elves for slavery. She thinks that we're not doing justice to them by not paying them salaries and give them holidays. Would you mind explaining the bond we wizards have with elves to her and how that works? I have a hunch that she might hide clothes around the castle to try and free them." "Yes Harry. I'll speak to her about it." Said Lily and both of them walked back to the group.

Just as they walked back to the group, Hermione pulled Harry and asked him "Why are there house elves working around this place? You know that it's slavery, right?" But before she could continue, Lily, who had overheard their conversation, came up and spoke to her "Hello Miss Granger. I didn't mean to overhear. But Harry did tell me about how you feel elves are being mistreated by not getting paid and not getting holidays off work. But their nature is to work without pay and not getting holidays until their master gives them permission."

"Their magic is at their strongest only when they are bonded to their master or to the family their bound to serve for. If they're free, that means they'll be killed much earlier than when they are bound to someone. As far as they think, it's an honour. And before you say, Dobby is like that because the Malfoys treated him very poorly."

"Yes, Miss Lily. I understand. I should have more about house elves and their bond with humans." said Hermione. Lily just smiled at this and the trio walked back to the group and started talking about different things to different people.
