Menandro was calm, too, but I could see the amusement in his eyes. I always knew that we were gonna see each other again, but not in our house.

"Ah..." I glanced at the two boxes of pizza. "Pero ngayon ang last day ng klase niya. Ano?

"Ate!" my sneaky brother protested, but I only glared at him.

Menandro crossed his arms, smiling through his eyes.

He stared at me for so long while I couldn't even meet his gaze.

Menandro has always had a thing for streetwear fashion; he wore a designer plain white loose t-shirt, black graphic track pants, and a shoes from my favorite American sports brand. He grew taller and his body got bigger. Like what I've always observed, he's not buffed nor skinny. His skin complexion lightened a bit dahil na rin siguro sa kanyang trabaho. He removed his white baseball cap, revealing his slightly messy haircut that suits the image he's portraying—a young and attractive person who pursued a career in education.

As a student, his aura and demeanor tells me that he's that kind of professor I'd never want to mess with. And I'm so thankful that he's not teaching in Letran. It'd be awkward because he used to like me before...

To be honest, marami pa akong gustong itanong... I only held myself as it was improper for me to throw questions at him when we aren't even close.

"Excuse me..." "Feel at home, Menandro."

She took her apron off before she sat on the countertop. She crossed her arms and gave me a look of suspicion. I actually burned my tongue, but I was too composed to give a fuck.

"I know! Pero mas mukhang masarap 'yung bisita niyo!" she exclaimed and laughed wickedly.

I scoffed. "May fiancé 'yon!

"Talaga ba? 'Di ko naman balak maki-agaw! Sayang! Bagay pa naman kayo!" she pouted and jumped off the countertop. She checked the dish and told me that it's almost done.

They were having a deep conversation. He raised an eyebrow and the corner of his mouth curled up. And for the old times' sake, I mouthed something that would tame him.
