You had a lot to live up to, being Obi-Wan Kenobi's little sister. Although you were Force-sensitive, you didn't want to train as a Jedi Knight because you were never interested in that life. You didn't want to fight or be part of any wars, so you instead learnt the basics of controlling the Force while remaining on the sidelines, proudly watching on as Obi-Wan became one of the greatest Jedi Masters in the galaxy.

The one thing you loved about being Force-sensitive was the ability to hide your feelings and thoughts from your big brother. This was especially useful when you began falling for his student, and eventually started a relationship with Anakin Skywalker.

He was delightful, lovely, and passionate, and it wasn't at all difficult for you to fall into his trance. However, the both of you knew that Obi-Wan wouldn't approve of your love, so for five years you had successfully kept it hidden from him.

While keeping your relationship could be fun and exhilarating most of the time, it also had its downfalls. To the rest of the galaxy, you and Anakin were single, and it frustrated you both that you couldn't mark your territories.

That was how you felt now, at a party during which an older woman was flirting with Anakin. You walked past him, slipping a piece of paper discreetly in his pocket, but you knew he'd sense it.

You then made your way downstairs to the wine cellar, where you had told Anakin to meet you. After waiting for five minutes, you grew restless, standing in the cold dark cellar alone. Just as you began to leave, the door opened, making you sigh in relief.

But when you turned around, you saw that it wasn't Anakin.

"General Jito," You said with slight confusion as he stood before you.

"What are you doing here, Y/N?" He asked with a warm smile, closing the door behind him and walking towards you.

"Um, I just needed a break from the party," You said, folding your arms across your chest.

"I sensed that someone was down here, so I came to check," He explained, taking another step closer before a wider smile grew on his lips. "I know exactly why you're here. You're waiting for Master Skywalker, aren't you?"

You almost gasped. How could he have known? After all these years, not even Master Yoda had caught onto your relationship- how could Joti have figured it out after only joining the Order a few months ago?

"It's alright, your secret is safe with me," He promised, though you couldn't help but feel uneasy. Joti glanced to the ground before continuing, "I hate to say it, but I don't think Master Skywalker will be joining you anytime soon. He seemed to be quite occupied with Lady Lanti, and you know how friendly she can be. You should come back to the party with me."

Something always made you feel on edge whenever you were alone with Joti, especially now that he knew about you and Anakin. "Oh, I don't mind. I think I'll just wait here... alone."

Joti came closer still, causing a feeling of dread to grow in the pit of your stomach. His eyes narrowed slightly. "I'm sensing something else, Y/N."

You immediately closed off your mind and shielded your feelings, not wanting him to pry any further into your private life. But it seemed to have been too late when a knowing look overtook his features.
