"You look wonderful, Master Y/L/N," J2-60 complimented you with a nod. Although his tone was stoic and robotic, his words meant a lot to you.

"Thank you, J2," You smiled at the droid, smoothing down the mint green dress you were wearing. It wasn't your usual kind of outfit, but seeing as you were attending one of the biggest celebrations of your life, it seemed appropriate to dress for the occasion. "Have you managed to sneak a glance at any of the others? I wouldn't want to be overdressed."

"Not at all; it seems you fit in quite well with the others," J2-60 confirmed. "Master Skywalker seemed eager to know what you were wearing."

"He did?" You asked, frowning slightly. "Why?"

"He didn't say," He replied, watching through the mirror as you put on some lipstick. "Perhaps he was afraid your outfits would clash."

"Hmm, perhaps," You echoed absentmindedly, before turning to face him. "Are, uh, are the Clones here yet?"

"I suspect you only truly wish to know the status of Kilo," He said, tilting his head. "Over the last two weeks, you have brought him up 32 times. I have become accustomed to speaking about him, but if it is all of the Clones you wish to know about-"

"Okay, fine, just tell me if Kilo is down there or not," You grumbled, hating that you couldn't be subtle about your crush around him.

"He is," J2-60 answered, filling you with excitement.

"Then what are we waiting for?" You asked with a grin. Linking your arm in his cold one, you walked out of the powder room and down into the hall, which had been decorated with bright lights and colorful fabrics. The Jedi were celebrating the downfall of the Sith, and a wave of relief had filled the air. The war was over, and peace had finally taken its place.

"Good evening, Y/N, you look beautiful," Obi-Wan said with a smile, handing you a drink. "And you, J2, as dapper as ever!"

"I'm flattered, Master Kenobi," J2-60 replied before unlinking his arms from yours. "I must go and mingle, Master. Why don't we regroup later on?"

"Of course, J, I'll see you later," You said with a smile, patting his shoulder.

"I look forward to hearing about how Kilo complimented you and how it made you feel on our way home," He said before walking away, leaving you a blushing mess.

Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow at you, "Kilo, hmm?"

"It's not like that," You defended quickly, biting your lip. "We're just friends."

"And what does Anakin have to say about that?" Obi-Wan asked before his eyes widened slightly. "Um, not that he'd have anything in particular to say about it."

You narrowed your eyes. "What are you talking about, Obi?"

"Nothing," He insisted. "Now go, go to your precious Kilo."

"Screw you," You said with a snort before walking further into the middle of the busy hall.

There were some couples dancing and people drinking, and you felt overjoyed at how the same people you were fighting alongside, who were recently covered in mud and blood, were now looking their absolute best as they got drunk and danced the night away.

"Having fun?"

You turned around and smiled at Kilo, who looked you up and down.

"You look amazing," He said, taking a step towards you. "Very different to your Jedi uniform."
