Brooke and Sid's Wedding

Request from Danah4life. This one's  not a Diego and Shira moment. Instead it's the sloth couple this time

Today was Brooke and Sid's wedding and the two slothes were excited to finally get married.

"Hold still Brooke" Shira said as she and Ellie wrapped a flower vine belt around the sloth's waist. Brooke had white and pink flowers in her hair and her skirt like fur. She wore a flower necklace and a flower crown.

"Ok done" Sasha said, the weasel tying the belt around the bride. Brooke squealed excited and ran to an ice block to see her reflection. Brooke twirled around excited.

"Aw I look so pretty" Brooke said, her hands on her cheeks. Ellie, Peaches, Shira, Sasha and Vibe gathered around her smiling. "You always look pretty Brooke" Peaches commented and Brooke smiled at them warmly as she gathered them in her arms and hugged them.

"Oh you girls are the best!" Brooke told them happy. Brooke had waited for the wedding for years. She was upset in the beginning that she and Sid had to wait because they both realized they weren't ready just yet but now the wait was worth it and Brooke couldn't wait for this moment to finally happen.

Shira looked at Vibe "Go tell Sid and the boys to get ready" she said and Vibe nodded "you got it!" Vibe said and ran off.

Meanwhile...

"Finally the moment has arrived!" Sid said excited. "You were right. Waiting was definitely worth it" Sid told his two best friends Manny and Diego. The mammoth and saber rolled their eyes but they smiled, happy for their friend.

"Before, he was complaining how he didn't wanna wait and just wanna marry her as quickly as he could" Diego told Manny as the saber licked his cub clean.

"Yeah it was only when Brooke said she didn't feel ready was what convinced Sid to wait" Manny added. Vibe came in running and the boys looked at her.

"Ok get ready lucky sloth because the bride is ready" Vibe told them. "Ok. Tackle go with Vibe and bring the ring over" Diego told him and Tackle nodded, running off with the pup.

Sid smiled big and warmly at his two closest friends. He was lucky to have them. Sid walked up to them and hugged the two, surprising them.

"You guys are the best friends a clusmy screw up sloth could ask for" Sid told them and Manny and Diego smiled at him and hugged their friend.

The wedding started and everyone was gathered at it. Sid was waiting at the altar, Diego and Manny there with him as his best men. Granny was also there.

"Ow!" Sid said as his grandma wacked his head with her stick. "What was that for?" Sid complained but Granny just smiled at him warmly and kissed his cheek "I'm proud of you Sydney. Glad I lived long enough to see my grandson's wedding" Granny told him and Sid looked at her surprised but he smiled at her warmly.

Then Sid spotted Brooke coming over. The sloth blushed and smiled shyly at how beautiful Brooke looked. Brooke smiled at Sid warmly as she made it to the altar.

The hyrax came and asked Sid about his wedding vows "I do" he said confident. The hyrax turn to Brooke and asked her the same thing "I do" Brooke said happy. Tackle then walked over holding a piece of wood with two crystal rings...not the ones from Geotopia. Sid was more careful with which crystal he choosed.

Sid and Brooke put the rings on eachother and smiled at eachother warmly. The hyrax announced them husband and wife as their friends looked at them happily. Once the hyrax said you may kiss the bride, Brooke grabbed Sid, dipped him and kissed him.

Everyone cheered for the sloth couple and Sid had a dazed look once Brooke broke the kiss but the slothes smiled at eachother, happy to be married and to be with eachother.
