I sigh as I look out the window and see it begins to rain. I watch as raindrops hit the window, stop for a second, and then slide down.
"What's wrong bebé?" Alex says as he walks up behind me and wraps his arms around, pulling me into him. (𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮)
"The rain. Whenever it rains it brings my mood down." I say and lean my head against his shoulder. (𝙞𝙙𝙠 𝙞𝙛 𝙞'𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙣𝙚,,,𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙙)
"Aw come one babe, think about the good things rain brings, a rainbow, it waters the grass, freshens up the weather." Alex says.
"I know but ever since I was little kid the rain always scared me, the thunder and the lightning really spooked me." I say and just as I say that a lightning bolt strikes, which causes me to flinch.
"Come with me." Alex says and pulls me away from the window.
"Where are we going?" I say and furrow my brows in confusion as I see him pull me in the direction of the front door.
"We are gonna go outside and I am going to prove to you that the rain isn't bad at all." Alex says and opens the front door, and pulls me into the front porch.
We stand there for a few minutes watching the rain as it picks up and then slows back down again. I soon start to relax to the sounds on the rain softly hitting the ground, the slight breeze, and the low thunder in the distance.
"See babe, it isn't bad." Alex says and looks at me with a smile on his face. I turn and look at him and can't help but smile at him too.
"Hm I guess you're right." I say and lean up to give him a small kiss on the lips.
"You know what i've always wanted to try." I say after pulling away.
"What?" Alex says and looks down at me.
"Dancing in the rain. It seems really fun." I say and smile while looking back at the rain.
"Wanna try it?" Alex says. I turn and look at him and raise a brow.
"What if we get sick?" I say and scrunch up my nose at the thought of being sick.
"Then we can be sick together." Alex says and begins to slightly pull me by my hand.
"Alright fine." I say and let him pull me into the rain. The rain immediately hits us as we step out of the porch. My oversized t-shirt becoming soaked in seconds.
"Oh it's kinda cold." I say and try to get used to the coldness of the water.
"Yeah it is." Alex says and let's go of my hand. We are now standing in the middle of the driveway, water running down our bodies.
I look up at the sky and close my eyes, enjoying the feeling of rain hitting my face. I smile and run a hand through my hair.
"May I have this dance?" Alex says and holds his hand out for me.
"Of course." I say and let him take my hand in his. He pulls me in closely to him and begins to sway his body. I follow along with him, letting him lead me. I chuckle at the thought of the neighbors looking at us like crazy people for dancing in the rain.
Suddenly, Alex dips me slightly, which causes me to let out a small squeal. I laugh slightly as I see the face Alex is making at me.
"Wow, you're hot." Alex says as he looks down at me. I let out another laugh at his random compliment. He brings me back up and gives me a kiss. I smile and then kiss back slightly. We pull back after a few seconds, both of us with big smiles on our faces.
"We should try to spin like they do in those movies." I say and take his hands in mine. He gives me a weird but shrugs his shoulders and goes along with my idea.
We make sure we have a strong hold on our hands and then slowly begin to spin. We both lean back and feel the rain hit our faces.
"Okay that's enough i'm dizzy now." I say and slowly stop us. I stumble a little as I straighten out, luckily Alex is there to catch me.
"See babe this was fun." Alex says and brings me closer to him.
"Yeah it was, we should do this every time it rains." I say.
"I don't know about every time, but we'll definitely be doing this again." Alex says and places a small kiss on my nose. I scrunch it up at the feeling and Alex laughs at that. We stand there for a few more seconds until we are interrupted by a voice.
"Y/N! Alex! Get out of the rain you guys are going to get sick!" My mom says as she stands at the porch. We turn and look at her before running back hand in hand to the porch.
