Chapter 60

"B-Bakit? Bakit ko ginawa 'yon?" umiiyak na tanong ko.

I am so clueless about that night. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko ginawa 'yon!

"You found out about the secrets I hid from you when you're still a kid, Arrow," sagot ng lolo ko.

Hindi 'yon nakatulong sa mga tanong na gusto kong masagot. Mas lalo lang akong naguluhan.

I wiped away my tears pero napalitan lang iyon ng mga bago.

"Why did I do that? What are those secrets, lolo? Please answer me, I'm begging you." Desperado na akong malaman ang lahat ng mga bagay na nakalimutan ko.

"Arrow, are you sure about this? You'll end up hurting yourself again, ayokong mangyari 'yon," nag-aalalang sagot ni lolo.

I shook my head. "No! I want to hear it, Gunner, please? Nandito naman si Froze, e. Alam kong kaya niya akong pakalmahin, 'di ba mahal?"

Froze immediately held my hand and kiss my forehead. "Shh, I'm here."

I heard Gunner sighed, dahilan para mapalingon ako sa direksyon niya.

"Are you satisfied now, lolo? P-Please, tell me, I want to k-know what pushed me to kill myself," umiiyak na pagmamakaawa ko.

"It's because of the agony you felt when I told you the truth. Hindi mo kinaya ang sakit, kaya ka nagdesisyon na patayin ang sarili mo. I regretted telling you the truth dahil paulit-ulit mong sinisisi ang sarili mo tungkol sa bagay na 'yon, and you end up killing yourself." Mas lalo akong nanghina.

Agony? Pain?

Gaano kalala ang nalaman ko?

"Apo, you are not Arrow Vlood." Napatingala ako at marahas na lumingon sa lolo ko.

"You are the real Ayenna. Your name is Ayenna Vlood, and yes, the one who died is your twin, Arrow."

Nanikip ang dibdib ko sa narinig. Parang may isang malaking bomba na sumabog sa harapan ko.

Umiiyak lang ako habang nakikinig sa kaniya.

You became the rebel, and that's what makes Canapia and Mesaion hate you more. But I never hated you for that." He tapped my shoulder 'causing me to tear up.

"Because I know who you really are. I kept my eye on you, Ayenna, because you're the most precious gem for me. Wala mang nag-aatubli na lumapit at makipag-usap sa 'yo, I am always looking at you from afar, to check you. I felt so proud whenever you have the guts to answer Mesaion and Canapia back at your age. But everything got messed up, when that incident happened."

Nagsimula nang kumabog nang malakas ang puso ko sa hindi malamang dahilan.

"Canapia and Mesaion love your twin so much, and you know why? Because  they found out that one of you possess a very expensive eye. Walang katumbas na kayamanan ang mapapasakamay nila kapag nabenta nila ang mga matang hinahanap nila sa inyo. They thought Arrow possessed those eyes, but when that clan took you and your twin, huli na nang malaman nila na ikaw ang nagmamay-ari ng mga matang 'yon." Halos matumba ako sa narinig.

These eyes that I have. Ito ang dahilan ng lahat?

"Then bakit hindi ako ginalaw ng punyetang clan na 'yon? Tell me! Bakit hindi nila ako sinasaktan?! Bakit si Arrow lang ang sinaktan nilang mga demonyo sila?!" I burst out.

He shook his head before smiling bitterly.

"It's Canapia and Mesaion's order."

Saglit na tumahimik ang buong paligid ko dahil sa sinabi niyang 'yon. What did I just heard?

"I d-don't understand it," umiiling na saad ko.

"They ordered that clan to took the both of you, but they had a deal, I just found out about it too late. They had a deal with that clan, ang kasunduan, hinding-hindi nila sasaktan si Ayenna, papatayin nila ang kakambal mo dahil wala itong silbi sa buhay nilang dalawa. All they want is money, and they need to keep you alive to convince you para ibigay ang mga mata mo. They ordered the clan to took the both of you para hindi makahalata ang lahat. You're mistaken as Arrow because of the mark on your neck, which is exactly similar to Arrow's birthmark on her neck. Si Arrow lang ang may ganoong birthmark, her neck and face was burned too much kaya hindi kami nagkaroon ng tiyansa na makita ang birthmark niya. And we thought you're the real Arrow."

Hindi ko na alam kung paano ko kinakaya ang bawat salitang naririnig ko.

My own parents... They killed my twin?

My poor twin... I am so sorry, Arrow. Patawarin mo ako kung wala akong nagawa noon.

"They thought it was Ayenna who died kaya sila galit na galit sa 'yo. Hindi na nila nakuha ang tiyansa na kuhanin ang mga mata ng kambal mo dahil naapektuhan din 'yon nang pagkakasunog sa kaniya.
