(Y/N) watched as Naruto and Kiba stared at each other in the arena.
Hayate: The seventh battle, Naruto Uzumaki vs. Kiba Inuzuka.
Naruto: I've been waiting forever for this! Sorry Kiba. Don't take it personally if I blow you away.
Kiba: <angry> That's what I was gonna say! Only not so politely. Right, Akamaru?
Akamaru barked in agreement.
Naruto and Kiba began to get in an argument over something.
The others watched from the sidelines.
(Y/N): <sighs> Of course this happens.
Chōji: Oh, man. Kiba's so lucky.
(Y/N): Don't underestimate Naruto, Chōji. He may look lame and weak on the outside, but he's actually pretty strong.
Kiba: <to Naruto> Look, I feel sorry for you. So I'm gonna finish you off with one shot, 'kay?
Naruto: Yeah? Is that right? Man, you're even dumber than you look if you think you can beat me.
Kiba: You sure talk tough for a little squirt.
Akamaru barked as Kiba put him down on the ground next to him.
Hayate: When you're ready, you can begin.
Kiba smirked and made a hand seal.
The battle between them went on for a while. Akamaru's fur even turned red when Kiba fed him a special pill. Eventually, Naruto was knocked to the ground, hurt really bad.
(Y/N): Damn! Naruto get up!
Kiba stood over Naruto.
Kiba: I told you it was gonna get serious.
Naruto: <groans> Ugh. I will... I will be... Hokage. I will... Ugh.
Kiba: And how are you gonna go that? By lying flat on your face? <chuckles> I got news for ya. I'm gonna be Hokage! <cackles>
(Y/N): This is not good. Naruto needs to get up.
Naruto gripped the floor and slowly stood up.
Sakura: On your feet, Naruto!
Naruto stood up all of the way.
Naruto: <to Kiba> Sorry, but you can forget about being Hokage. Because I'm the top dog around here.
Kiba: You're kidding. You're a real glutton for punishment, aren't ya?
Naruto: <smiles> Heh.
Kiba: Huh? Okay, it's your funeral. I'm gonna make sure you don't get up again!
The two fought again, until Naruto managed to take out Akamaru.
An angry Kiba then attacked Naruto, until he slapped him to the ground.
Sakura/(Y/N): <in unison> Naruto!
Kiba: <to Naruto> Ha! You wanted me to get serious, so I got serious.
Hinata looked at Naruto, worried.
Kiba: You get it now? You were just kidding yourself! You never even had a chance. <gasps>
Naruto began to get back up.
