skinny dipping in a public beach at ten pm
then sit on the curb while we wait for our friends
laughing under yellow streetlight glow
i was warming up in your sister's clothes
didn't know real pain and that was okay
shouldn't have to grow up this quick anyway
but how deeply i miss being young and free
i'd give anything to be in summer at 13
