Second Book of the 'Fur Now' Series
Jackson and Percy are still together, but the conspiracy of Obsidian has torn the world's (and Jack's) mind, as he continues to fight for his bizarre goals. 'What is he thinking?' 'What is he doing?' No one knows...
Well, these three next chapters are each pretty long, but if you read them, I think you may find something interesting. 😋 I really like this first chapter here, it's more wholesome than my more recent ones. 😁
Percy's Perspective We had already been in school for a couple weeks. And we finished the tournament for this year as well. Nox had won it all. Jackson looked defeated with hefty panting. I used magic to keep our area cool enough for him. Floating ice crystals flurried and danced around us in a chilling, but kind, embrace. His cute, though ridiculously massive, muzzle was up on my shoulder. I had to shift my head away as he kept teasing. In the back, Cindy and Antonio were arguing over a 'who would win' scenario between two County-Class Hunters:

Cindy kept saying that Han would win based off a game she played. And that got under Antonio's skin. "Suna would easily win! Han can only punch and kick, she can use powerful long and mid-range magic and she's a Fighter. He can't compete!" "Hey you two, can't you guys just stay quiet until we get to the hotel?" They didn't really appreciate how Caleb told them to shut up and Cindy immediately yelled at Brittany.
