Ahh so it begins.
Elliot's POV
"You're staring."
"I know that. Keep driving." Zay tells me and though I can tell he's trying to have his typical uncaring flirtatious vibe, it's still very much obvious that I get him flustered.
I chuckle at his response and shake my head even as confused panic falls over me. I'm straight as a fucking ruler, but as soon as I saw Zay in that sweater that made his skin glow, I felt my dick twitch, a lot harder that it did earlier this morning. And while I try to remain cool on the outside, I feel like cutting my dick off and running away.
Well, maybe not. I don't think I'm quite done using it yet. I snort to myself as we pull up into the café parking lot and turn to look at Zay who's wiping his hands on his skinny jeans.
"Nervous?" I ask him and he turns to me to scoff and roll his eyes.
"No. I'm hungry. Let's go." He says sassily, opening up his door to get out. I was going to call a smart ass remark after him, but after seeing the way his ass fills out the jeans he's wearing, I'm not quite sure what my brain is functioning.
Holy fuck, Elliot. Catch a fucking grip. He's a man.
Shaking my head from the weird thoughts I've been having lately, I get out the car on my side, closing the door and locking the car behind us. Though he seemed confident just a second ago, Zayvion looks scared shitless right now. In an effort to calm his nerves I place my hand in the small of his back, the way Bambi likes when she's all over the place, and lead him across the street.
My hand tingles in the spot where our bodies touch butt I try to ignore it as we reach the building and I let my hands fall from his body to open the door for us.
We walk in to the addicting smell of cinnamon and coffee and a million other scents that seem perfect. I find myself drooling over all the pastries and everything else I find and I catch Zay laughing at my awestruck face. I only roll my eyes at him happy to see him not as uptight as before.
I'll say it once and I'll say it a million times: Awkward people don't mix.
And least when it comes to things like this anyway.
I order myself a black coffee and Zayvion gets some ice cream looking thing before we buy some pastries. At least I did. The Hybrid just stood there apparently highly amused. Once we have everything we ordered, we grab our stuff and make our way towards a random table closer to the door but not so close we get a burst of stuffy autumn air.
I settled back into my seat and I try not to let myself think too much about what's going on.
About the fact that I am basically on a date with a man. A male. A dude. A person with a dick slinging between their legs.
Fuck.
But I try to swallow the mixed feel sing about that thought as the two of us finally begin to get to know each other. "You know, the only thing I know about you is that you're human and you're a terrible flirt." Zayvion tells me while sipping on his drink and I chuckle to myself with a reading expression.
"Oh yes. Because I'm the one the gets flustered whenever you te without three feet of me." I say and he rolls his eyes and shake his head.
"See, you're wrong." He says before taking a pause with his lips twitching and I raise my brows before he explains himself. "It's five feet actually. Anything less sends me into cardiac arrest." He tells me and I find myself laughing at his joke, surprisingly having a good time despite the thoughts running in the back of my head.
