"Here this is from Yeye (Grandfather)," Renjun take my hand then place a necklase on it. "He gave it to me earlier, I want you to take care of it," he insisted. My lips curved into a smile as I gaze at the necklase on my hand.
Yeye passed away recently, it was very hard for me. He comforts me everytime. Now Renjun is moving away, everything is going to be harder than ever.
"Okay, I'll take care of it," I give Renjun an ensuring smile.
Then there was another time, when I walked home with a friend. Mom was outside, watching us both saying goodbye. My smile faded when I saw her glaring at me.
"See ya tomorrow!"
I walked into the house as she followed me inside. "Who was that?" She asked in a dead serious tone. "Who allowed you to have a boyfriend?" She spoke before I could explain.
"He is not-"
A slap landed on my cheek as a yell came out from her mouth, "Stop lying!"
"He is not my boyfriend, he is just a friend," I stated.
"That necklase, it must be from him. Stop lying!" She pull the necklase from my neck forcefully. Thus, I hissed in pain. She walk away with the necklase, then tears starts rolling down from my cheeks.
I've been strong, but this time she take it from me. "Give it back!" I shouted as I run towards her. I grab her arm but she yank it away. My neck still hurts, I stayed on my spot desperately watching her walking further away.
All I've been saying are lies to them. That is not overprotecting, but torture. They don't give me any freedom, but they did to Renjun. Why is it so unfair?
I'm sorry Yeye, Renjun.

A new day has started. I did my morning routine and ate some sandwich I've made earlier for breakfast. I was about to seat myself on the couch but-
*Ding dong*
And followed by knocks on the door annoyed me out. Can't they just be patient?
I open the door and reveal Renjun along with the other members behind him. "Hi sis! We are free today!" Renjun exclaimed. "Where should we hang out?" Haechan asked.
"Didn't the manager informed that there will be a project? Some of us will be chosen randomly," Jeno looked at everyone confusingly. "Ah! It will be this noon," Jaemin added.
"I want a break," Chenle whined. "We have to head back later then," Renjun pouted.
"You can stay for awhile," I beckoned them inside. "Thanks Y/n," Renjun smiled.
