Blush: Scars

Mush POV

"Blinky," I started "Can I see your eye?"

Blink looked at me. His brown eye penetrating my soul. 

"It's okay if you don't want to, I just was curious." I rambled, trying to get out of the room.

"Mush wait!" Blink grabbed my arm. "I never thought I would love anyone enough to show them this, but here." He took off his brown eyepatch.

The blind eye was a mix of greys and whites. You could just barely make out the faintest tint of brown. I saw his eyes tear up. I gently kissed his blind eye.

"I think it is beautiful." I whispered kissing the eye again.

"NO IT'S NOT! STOP LYING TO ME! THE SCAR WILL NEVER GO AWAY AND I'LL BE HIDIOUS FOREVER!" Blink cryed, pulling his eyepatch over his eye.

I pulled him onto the bed and pulled up his eyepatch. 

"Do you want to see something?" I asked Blink.

After he nodded, I started to unbutton my shirt.

"What are you doing Mushy?" Blink said, his tears slowing down.

I finished taking off my shirt and layed on my stomach. I led my boyfriends' hand to the small of my back. The words "Asshole, Fuckhead, Bitch, Whore, Slut, and F***og" (I hate using these words. I feel gross now) were engraved in my back made out of thin, white scars. 

"Who did this?" Blink asked, kissing all of my scars.

"My dad. He was arrested for 48 counts of murder." I responded, turning onto my back. "I know my scars aren't as bad as yours but I just wanted you to know that everyone has imperfections."

"Thank you Mush. Thank you so much." Blink said, wrapping his arms around my torso.

"What do you mean?" I asked my boyfriend.

"I guess I forgot that nobody's perfect. You just reminded me that everyone has imperfections." Blink said into my chest.

I leaned onto my pillow, and I pushed Blink onto his side, and I hugged him until the rest of the boys stormed into the lodge.
