Chapter 6: Lucky

my happy face turned into a sad one, knowing Jungkook and his family, his father always cheats on his mom, but he promised to never do it ever again, i feel pity for him and her mom.

i patted him on the back and hugged him by his shoulder.

me: i-im sorry....
Jungkook: no, you don't have to be, it's his fault,  my mom loved him so mcuh, and she doesn't deserve the pain that my dad's giving her....

tears started to roll on his cheeks and wasn't able to control his feelings, i really feel bad for him.

Kookie: i feel so useless, i don't know how to comfort my mom right now
me: Kookie, i know how it feels because my dad once cheated on my mom, but not once, but also twice, but always remember that you are not useless, it was your dad's choice to cheat on auntie because he wanted to, but that doesn't mean that it's your fault, it was never.
Jungkook: thank you, so much Y/n, i really don't know who to run right now, all of my bros are busy and you're my closest friend,
me: no problem, do you wanna go inside? maybe it's too cold for you here, since you're just wearing a blue shirt...
Jungkook: aysh, no, it's okay, i like the cold weather tonight
me: okay

i patted him on the shoulder and hugged him tightly, making him feel that there's always someone who understands him.

we spend a lot of time outside, i was alarmed by my phone that it's already 9pm,

me: oof Jungkook, it's already 9
Jungkook: wait really?! time goes so fucking fast
me: i know right,

we both chuckled and bid goodbye to each other, we went to our houses, i hope Jungkook and her mom's okay.
i went to my room and turned my phone off but not completely turning it off because of my alarm for tomorrow morning, then i went to sleep.

               4:30 am, Tuesday

my alarm starts going on, i opened one of my eyes and streched my arms, then, i stood up and searched for the outfit that I'll be wearing for today, Tuesday.

how about some cozy sweatpants with an oversized shirt? looks cozy and comfortable.

i took a bath and brushed my teeth, i wore my clothes and fixed the stuff in my sling bag.

Math, Values Education, Arts, Music, and Health.

wow, just 5 subjects for today huh? i chuckled and went downstairs to eat my breakfast, it was already served, just waiting for me to eat em HAHAHA.

then, i see my parents walking towards the dining table, i told them a good morning

mom and dad: Good morning too, dear
i smiled at them and continued eating my breakfast, yes, Jungkook's mom told my mom about their situation, i sighed and just paid attention to what my mom and dad was talking about.

mom: Jungkook's dad will really not change...
dad: maybe, he didn't mean that, i know my bestfriend, he won't do shit that could make his family torn apart
mom: i know right, but it was Jungkook's dad decision to do that, and we have nothing to do about the situation since we're only their bestfriends. oh yeah by the way, Y/n, i won't be able to drop you to school since i have papers to take care of okay?
me: okay dad

knowing my parents, they're a bit nosy HAHAHHA, they talk about shit that i couldn't take no more HAHAHA,
i chuckled at their conversation, i was done eating so i went upstairs again and took my phone which was charging, and texted Jungkook

me: heyyy, you okay now?
Kookie 💕: yep, doing better, wanna go with me to the bus station to school?
me: of coursee!! i was about to ask that question to you, too
Kookie 💕: HAHAHHAHA
me: by the way, how's auntie doing?
Kookie 💕: she's still feeling a bit sad, so she's on the way to our relative's house to relax and move on, she's actually divorcing my dad
me: I-im sorry... is your mom sure about this?
Kookie 💕: yep, she's been hurt too many times by my dad throughout all the years, and she got enough of the shit my dad's causing to her, so she did the right thing by divorcing him.
me: are you okay with this?
Kookie 💕: u-uhm yes, kinda hard to accept but I'm already 19, i can handle this, 🙂 and, we have to meet up infront of your house so that we could go to the bus station
me: o-oh yes HAHAHAHA, Im going downstairs now
Kookie 💕: so do i

i chuckled and i went downstairs with my sling bag, my dad gave me pocket money, for about 300$ for the whole week, i thanked him and continued my way outside to my house, i met him once again

me: you sure that you're now doing good today? you can just stop for a moment
Jungkook: oh no, i can't, I'm gonna miss a lot of shit
me: HAHAHAHAHA

we chuckled and we walked for 15 minutes to the bus station, the sky is half white and half black today, i love how it mixs so good, It reminds me of the black and white lives matter, they can shine anytime they want, while we were walking, we talked a lot about some stuff,

we got to the bus station, we waited for the bus, 3 minutes later the bus arrived, we hopped in the bus, we sat on the very back, the bus starts going, the sky is turning blue, it looks so pretty.

i felt a bit sleepy so I just rested my head onto Jungkook's shoulder, he hugged me so softly and just stared at the beautiful sky.

I'm so fucking blessed to have him.
