Sitted in the parlour hayat lay on the 3sitter couch with her head on sooraj lap as he calmly talk to her about the pregnancy she try aborting 2days ago without there consent.

"Have you talked to him since the other day?"sooraj ask hayat and she sigh.

"He refused to answer my calls, he is mad about the whole thing, told me he needed some space."hayat grumble and sooraj sigh.

"Do you want me to call him over so you two can talk."he ask and hayat sit upright.

"No let him be i.......the parlour door swing open and bilal come in with a smile on his face.

"Welcome back daddy."hayat say as there father sit on the one sitter couch with a sigh.

"Hayat you didn't go to work today?"he ask curiously and she nod.

"I have the week off."she say and head to the kitchen to get a glass of water for him.

Sooraj greet his dad and the two zoom into there regular conversation mostly about work, bilal has been really happy ever since his children started spending time together and his relationship with them isn't as sour as before.

"Thank you."bilal mutter to his daughter as he collect the glass of Orange juice, hayat turn to leave but he call her back ordering her sit.

"Uhhmm hayat."bilal say dropping the now empty glass cup as hayat answer with a smile.

"Soo I was at my office this afternoon and alhaji umar came over that you and one of his son are seeing each other?"bilal say looking at hayat and she nod.

"So he want me to ask you wether you are ready to settle down because his son said he want to settle down as soon as possible, I told him i will talk to you and get back to him."bilal say looking at his daughter who just stare at the floor.

"She is ready of course that's what we were discussing and you came in."Sooraj say excitedly and haystack chuckle silently.

"No, until she agreed.
Hayat do you want to settle down?"bilal ask looking at hayat and she nod shyly making him to smile.

"I will call him later so we can discuss, maybe zayd will also get a girl so the wedding can hold all same time."bilal say and sooraj humming in response.

The door to the parlour open and zayd come in with an exhausted hanan trailing behind him.

With her hand place frustratedly on her cheek khair listen to all the advice her dad has been singing into her ear, she is Soo to desperate to find out what's the motives behind all the heart melting words he has been singing into her ears for the past 45minutes.

"Khair din daddy,
I hoped you know i will never let anyone hurt you and i will never make a decision that isn't the best for you?"her dad say to her and Khair nod immediately making him to smile warmly at her.

"I want you and sooraj to marry."sadiq say to his daughter.

Ever since his brother talked to him about safwan marriage he feel the need that Khair should also marry, he don't want to rush Khair but a little part of him is telling him that this is the best time for the two to get marry, he do hoped Khair should agree because he doesn't want to pressurised her into the marriage.

"Daddy i will marry him I promised you that and i will never break my promised."Khair say and she feel her dad take a heavy breathe.

"Khair.
I want you and sooraj to get marry soon, I believe sooraj will take care of you and will let you school even when you are married."he say making Khair head to snap up to him.

"No daddy.
I don't want to get marry now,
I want to study and become a nurse,
You promised i will study before marrying him and i agreed to your promised that even after your death i will marry no one but sooraj."Khair say as she feel her vision blurring.

Sadiq stare from where he is sitting as his daughter weep, he never want to forced Khair into marriage she's indeed young and very immature, but he just feel the need of marrying her off right away for some reason he don't know why.

"It's ok khair , I wasn't going to forced you into marriage you are my only daughter and blood you do always be my first priority no matter what, falak isn't also ready to marry and I wasn't going to forced her i just want to see my grand children and I thought since you are my daughter you will understand but it's fine khair and i am glad you are a woman of vision, just promised me you will marry sooraj not now but in the future."her dad say Khair feel like telling her dad she will marry sooraj right away she love her dad soo much and seeing him now a little heartbroken she feel like a complete idiot knowing she's the reason behind that sad face.

"Thank you daddy.
I promised you i will marry sooraj maybe not now but I will be with sooraj no matter the consequences."Khair say and her dad smile.

"May God bless you."he say and Khair smile wipping away her tears with her veil.

The two sit quiet both deep into there thought, Sadiq has this weird feeling that something will happen , something very traumatizing that will break his two girls completely he mutter some prayers and relax on the couch.

"I want to come with you to london,
I miss ya falak i really want to see her."Khair say and her dad humm in response from where he is sitting.

"I am going back tomorrow and we will come back together for good, I think it's high time we relocated back to our homeland."sadiq say making Khair face to light up in happiness and he smile.

"We are relocating back to Nigeria?
Ohhh wow i can't wait to tell ya Safwan this news, I know they will miss me when i leave."Khair say excitedly making her dad to chuckle.

"I hope falak agree i don't understand why she hate the idea of moving to Nigeria."he say and Khair nod in agreement.

"She doesn't want to meet ya marwan,
Wonder what really happened between the two of them."Khair say and her dad nod in agreement.

"Falak is too secretive, she's still an unsolved mystery to me."her dad say and Khair smile.

"But one thing that i can't deny is ya marwan really do love her and she indeed love him, something is just tearing them apart."Khair say and her dad chuckle.

"Ok Mrs knowing about love,
Let me go rest, i have a long flight to catch tomorrow morning."sadiq say and stand up from the couch.

Khair watch as her dad walk out of the room.

"Daddy!"Khair yell and her dad turn from the door.

"I love you."she say with a smile and sadiq smile warmly at his daughter.

"I love you to khairy,
Goodnight."he say and leave the room closing the door shut behind him.

Khair throw herself on the bed and close her eyes with a heavy breathe.
