Chapter Seventy-One ⚔ Werewolves Of London ⚔
Odette sat across from Scott in the hospital waiting room with her eyes closed as they both listened into the surgery room while Malia walked over and grabbed Scott's hand.
"I think she's coagulopathic. I need another suture. The bullet missed the ascending aorta. Brachiocephalic is intact. Hemodynamics are stable. She's gonna be okay." They heard the doctor say making then sigh in relief.
A few minutes later Scott watched as Odette nodded along to what a nurse was telling her before walking over to him. "You have about a minute before the sedative kicks in then let her rest." Odette said and he nodded and looked into the room where his mom laid in a hospital bed, "Hey." Odette said making him look at her.
"She's okay and she's gonna heal just fine." She said and he smiled softly and her and nodded making her give him a reassuring smile, "I'll wait out here." She said before he walked into the room.
A few minutes later Scott walked out and started walking down the hall making Odette follow him, "I wanna check on my dad." He said and she was about to say something but stopped when Scott saw the empty room making her sigh softly. "Where's my dad?" Scott asked, turning to her as Stilinski walked up to them, "Transferred to San Francisco Memorial. He's gonna be fine." He said and Scott nodded slightly.
"And what about Mason?" Scott asked and Stilinski nodded, "Already out of surgery." He said. "Lydia?" He asked and Odette sighed softly, "She's all right, too. The bullet missed everything important, thankfully." She said and Stilinski nodded. "Guys, we got lucky." Stilinski said and Scott shook his head slightly.
"They almost died." Scott said and Stilinski nodded, "But they're gonna live. We're gonna have two deputies posted here around the clock. Nobody sets foot on this floor without my authorization." Stilinski said. Scott sighed softly and him and Odette went to walk off but Stilinski stopped them.
"Guys, I got a pretty good idea how you're feeling right now. But the whole Sheriff's department is gonna be on this. I am gonna find out who did this." Stilinski said and Odette chuckled sarcastically and shook her head, "We all know who did this." She said before Scott pulled her away.
