Chapter Seventy-Five
🏹 Haunted Memories 🏹

Odette sat at the table, doing some paperwork when she suddenly heard a voice. "Your name isn't Argent but you're still an Argent." She heard Allison say, making her pause and look up. "You know how to use chinese ring daggers. I taught you those." She heard again, making her look over to the side and for a quick moment she saw Allison sitting next to her.

"Then how about this. Once all this stuff is over, I'll teach you everything you need to know." Allison said and Odette's eyes widened as she quickly got up before Allison disappeared. Odette let out a deep breath, "Oh, putain de merde." She mumbled, running a hand through her hair.

(Translation: Oh, for fuck's sake.)

"Did it happen again?" Someone asked, making Odette turn to see Stiles walking into the room, making her sign softly. "It's been happening everyday, sometimes twice a day." Odette said, her french accent still prominent, "You think it means something?" Stiles asked, making Odette raise her eyebrows.

"Hallucinating my memories of my dead cousin everyday? It has to mean something." Odette said, leaning against the table before Stiles walked over, wrapping his arms around her waist. Odette leaned her head on his shoulder and after a moment, Odette's phone started ringing.

She lifted her head up before grabbing her phone to see Scott calling her. She furrowed her brows slightly, she and Stiles looking at each other in confusion before she answered the call. After talking for a few minutes, Odette pulled the phone away from her ear, looking up at Stiles.

"Same things have been happening to Scott, Lydia and my uncle... Apparently, Allison might be stuck in bardo and... there might be a way to bring her back." Odette said and Stiles raised his eyebrows, "So you have to go back. To Beacon Hills." He said and she nodded. "Then go." Stiles said, making Odette raise her eyebrows, "And you?" She asked and he smiled at her.

"I'll stay here. Someone has to watch the kids." He said, making her look at him in amusement, "You're going to watch two six-year-olds and a one-year-old on your own?" She asked and Stiles shrugged slightly. "I've done it before." He said and she nodded slightly, "Yeah but for no more than a day. I'll probably have to be in Beacon Hills for at most a week." Odette said.

"Odie, I'm a dad. I got this." He said and a moment after they started hearing their one-year-old son, Grant, crying from the other room before the twins, Leila and Lucas, ran into the living room, wide eyed. Stiles sighed as he pulled away from Odette to look at his kids, "What did you do to your little brother?" He asked them. The twins just looked at their parents for a moment before pointing at each other.

"It was him!" "It was her!" They both yelled at the same time, making Odette look at Stiles in amusement. "Good luck with them, dad." She said, patting his shoulder, making Stiles give her a look.

Scott pulled up to the ruins of Oak Creek, the place that once had haunting tunnels, now was just a fallen, grassy plot. He glanced down at part of the broken, rusty gate before slowly walking forward, memories of what happened here flashing through his mind.

Lydia pulled up and got out of her car and hesitated for a moment before walking over to Scott, making him look back and smile. "Hey, thanks for coming so fast." He said and Lydia smiled at him before quickly pulling him into a hug. A moment later, another car pulled up, making them pull away and look back to see Odette get out of her car.

She glanced around at the place, trying to not think about when she saw her cousin's body in Scott's arms. She walked towards her friends and Lydia smiled before quickly running over, throwing her arms around Odette.

Odette laughed softly as she tightly hugged Lydia back for a moment before pulling away to hug Scott. "Hey." He said before glancing over at her car, "No Stiles?" He asked as they pulled back and Odette sighed.

"Someone had to stay back with the kids. We're not about to travel across the country with two crazy six-year-olds and a one-year-old." Odette said, making Scott and Lydia both nod slightly. Odette took a small deep breath as the three of them glanced down at the ground for a moment.

"Do you really think all this is true?" Lydia asked, making them look at her, "Allison being stuck, unable to cross over?" She asked and Scott shook his head. "I don't know. But if being here and doing this thing actually helps her, and no one else gets hurt, I'm up for trying." Scott said and Lydia nodded slightly before looking over at Odette.

"I believe it. Seems like something my cousin would do, not give up so easily." Odette said and Lydia nodded, "Okay, then let's try." She said before holding up a folder she had, pulling out of premonition papers she did.

"We need a handful of earth from the ground where Allison died." Lydia said and Scott nodded, "Okay." He said. Scott stepped up to the patch of ground where Allison died and crouched down. He slightly ran his hand across the ground before Lydia crouched down, gently grabbing his hand while Odette comfortably grabbed Scott's shoulder.

They all glanced at each other before nodding slightly and the girls stepped back. Scott took a deep breath before punching the ground a few times until he was able to grab a handful of dirt. Odette handed him a cloth, helping him wrap the dirt into it before he looked at her and Lydia

"What's next?" He asked, making them look at him before walking over to the cars.
