Chloe's P.O.V

I scroll through all the photographs that I took earlier this month and the only conclusion I came to is that I need to retake all of them. None of them speaks to me. The emotions I wanted to portray in them aren't as vivid as I would like them. Even after I put the black and white filter over them to intensify the emotions, they're still not good enough.

They lack sentiment and captivation. They don't tell a story. I usually take photos of people rather than landscapes because I like to be able to express myself through them. My friends help me a lot with them by modelling for me a lot of the time, but this time just didn't go as I wish.

Maybe I need to go a little out of my comfort zone and photograph other people. I need to think about it more though. Thankfully I still have a month and a half for my first assignment!

The screen of my phone lights up drawing my attention to it. I check it to see a message from Felix.

"Are you ready? Can I come and pick you up now?"

Oh shit!

I forgot I'll be going out for lunch with my friends.

"Give me 10 minutes!" I text him quickly.

I stand up and start browsing through my wardrobe. I quickly decide on a straight leg light blue pair of jeans and a plain white roll neck top. After quickly throwing my clothes on I rush to the bathroom.

Grabbing my mascara, I glide it on my lashes to give them some volume. I put on some lip balm next as well as a light pink blush on my cheeks. I spray my wrist with perfume rubbing them together and behind my ears lightly before grabbing my hairbrush. I ran it through my short black hair to smooth over any small comps that were created overnight.

Putting it down I take a step back and check myself in the mirror. My green eyes are a shade darker today than usual. I don't know what makes them change in shade. Maybe it's the weather or lighting or I don't know. I have freckles dotting my skin around my cheeks and forehead area, some are more noticeable than others. My plumber lips that I took from my dad are starting to dry up quicker now that we enter the colder weather again.

Deciding that I look good, I go back to my dresser and pick my two favourite rings from my jewellery box. I slide both of them on my index fingers and grab my sand colour oversize puffer jacket as well as my black small shoulder back. I put them on my bed as I tie my white trainers.

My phone starts ringing and I rush to grab it knowing it's Felix wanting to tell me he arrived.

"I'm coming down right now," I say as I put my jacket on.

"Okay, see ya."

I put my phone in my bag and go towards the front door.

"Mum, I'm leaving!" I say to her before I open the door to go.

"Okay honey, have fun!"

Once I got in the passenger seat Felix turns and looks at me smiling.

"Ready?" He asks as I do my belt.

"Ready!"

He drives off once I say that.

The restaurant we usually go to is not that far from my apartment but Felix being the great best friend that he is doesn't want me walking alone in the cold. I love him honestly, he's always been so thoughtful.

He has curly honey brown hair and very light green eyes. I honestly never seen green eyes so light before they're like a mint colour. He has a straight nose and pouty lips. Felix studies photography with me although his photos are very different from mine. He likes them to look more vintage and photographs anything from people to animals and landscapes.
