Chapter 24

Ian's P.O.V

Time does fly by when you're having fun. I would be having more fun though if Jacob wasn't on this trip with us. 

I hate how he gets Chloe's attention so easily. It felt weird seeing them play in the water together, walk side by side, talking and hearing Chloe laugh at his jokes.

He's like a completely different person when he interacts with her or any of his friends for that matter. For those moments I can actually see that sweet guy that Chloe told me he was. Once his eyes land on me though all of that sweetness disappears. 

Is like he acts nice with his friends but when it comes to interacting with new people, he suddenly becomes judgmental and rude.

I think the way someone behaves with strangers really says something about how they are as a person. If you're only nice to me but an asshole to everyone else, then I don't want you in my life.

From the first moment, we met he judged me and came to some conclusions without knowing anything about me. He was the one that looked at me as if I were his competitor to win Chloe. I haven't even shown in any way that I thought of Chloe or wanted Chloe in a romantic manner.

Instead of trying to get to know me like her other friends were doing, he opted for pissing me off. He was making it seem like Chloe was already his when she's not. Whenever he interacted with her he would always throw a smirk at me afterwards as if saying to me, look, I'm winning.

Oh, fuck off already!

"This night is so boring why don't we play something to make it more interesting?" Elise says as she roasts her marshmallow on a stick by the fire I and the boys put up outside.

"We can play never have I ever if everyone's in," Alice suggests.

I don't know what that game is, but why not.

"Yeah, we can do that, I'll bring the alcohol from inside," Jacob says standing up.

"Okay, great we can just go around the circle until everyone asks a question once," Sydney says, giving us clear plastic cups.

"How do you play this?" I lean in, whispering to Chloe who sits to my left, not wanting anyone else to hear that.

"Oh, it's easy, don't worry!"

Right as she finishes explaining to me, Jacob comes with a bottle of alcohol opening it up and passing it around.

I pour some in my cup and Chloe's even though neither of us likes alcohol, we'll bear with it for a moment.

"So, who's going first?" Sydney asks.

"I'll go! Never have I ever sext someone," Elise says.

I look around seeing everyone drinking except Elise, Eddie and me.

"Anyone wants to reveal to whom?" Alice asks, raising an eyebrow.

"It was with my ex-boyfriend," Chloe reveals.

"It was with a random guy I was seeing at the time," Felix says.

"Okay, my turn! Never have I ever had sex in a public place," Alice asks, biting her lips and looking around at everyone.

Shit, all of these questions are going to be sexual, aren't they? 

Chloe takes a sip, making me choke on my saliva. She is not the only one though as Eddie drinks as well, clicking his cup with her.

"Chloe! Where? why didn't you tell us?" Elise looks says, looking at Chloe with wide eyes and mouth agape.

"It was with my ex-boyfriend at a parking lot. I don't like talking about my sex life, you know that," Chloe says, shrugging it off.
