First, Thank You

It's officially been a year since I posted the first chapter of Rebel Just For Kicks, and seeing people enjoy my work has been heart-warming.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I know I'm evil - but, I'm gonna ask you to trust me?

So many fics swap the OC for Davina, and I don't wanna do that. D deserves storylines.
Plus - some Kolvina lines have already been used, the others don't make sense for Kora, so having MJ in that role wouldn't work.

(MJ would pull a face at the 'not like other girls' line Kol uses on D)

A lot of Davina's plots don't make sense for MJ's character - keeping them as hers creates 'drama' (like how she goes to war against the vampires at the end of S2)

TVS6 is from September 2012 to June 2013;
Damon = Oct; Cuddles = Nov; Bonnie = Feb,
TOS2 is from mid-Oct 2012 to the end of Feb

Some of you may not like this choice, but, if MJ was around for the first few episodes of S2, the season would be over, Esther-wise anyway.

Moments of how TVD and TO overlap have genuinely been influenced by whether MJ is too powerful for a plot so has to be 'out-of-town' lol.

She's got physical limitations to adapt to, but still. She's the Aonso host. Think about how powerful Ana was, and how it drove her a lil mad. The summer flashbacks/S4 dying struggles were set-up for this.

Kora will reunite in ~10~ chapters
(It was initially 15 chapters but I've been cutting things lol)

The first chapter will be up in a week :)

The Part Divider will be up in 2/3 days

I'm not writing everything MJ misses, just scenes changed by her death; Kolvina, Sam, etc

Kolvina will not be romantic beyond a brief crush from Davina. Kol needs to learn how to make friends lol

These are the last seasons I'm melding bar 2/3 episodes in TVDS7 & 8, so; Welcome to the grand finale of TVD MJ!

I love Kai as a villain.
He and MJ have similarities.
She's a believer in second chances.
But, Kai is Kai.

There are a lot of comments about them being besties in B1, but it would be OOC for MJ to let him hurt Bonnie. Think about her library attack on Bex/Kol to save Stefan, Ty, & Care.

MJ will be getting involved, and it's gonna be brutal. He was so violent at the start.

One day I might write a fic where I explore Kai's potential but this is a Kol fic.

Kai is not the male lead I need to fixate on. There will be bonding, but it'll take time and MJ's extra delicate atm.
