How Tommy Got His Name

It was tradition at this point. Each family member got to pick a middle name for the newborn baby. They had decided on his first name before he was born and his last name was Phil's last name. But they each got to choose one of his middle names. So his name was Theseus Minecraft for a few months. Changed to Thomas Minecraft after he was born. Although the eldest child refused to call him that.

Of course, they were no normal family with deciding names. The firstborn was named Techno for christ's sake. How do you think the twins got the names Techno Blade Blitz Minecraft and Wilbur Jared Soot Minecraft.

Wilbur placed the baby in his Walker with a few of his toys while he sat on the sofa watching animal planet. He kept glancing at the boy to make sure he wasn't walking or bouncing away. He hated to admit it but he'd grown a soft spot for Tommy. It was almost like they were brothers. They were but don't tell Wilbur that, he will cry.

Tommy chewed on a small stuffed animal and looked around the room. His wide eyes looked over everything, his brother on the sofa, the tv, the coffee table, the electrical outlet. He stopped. The wall was frowning. Kisses made everything better. He slowly made his way to the other side of the room and slowly reached out to the outlet.

"No! Thomas! Dangerous!" Wilbur frantically shouted and pulled his little brother away from the wall. He held his brother up and seemed to mentally scold the outlet.

"Name?" Techno stuck his head of his room and smiled. Wilbur realized what happened and frowned. Then smiled.

"Hell yeah! Tommy Danger! How do you like that for a name?" He cooed at the baby who simply giggled.

"Dad! Wilbur got a name!"

"What is it?"

"Danger!" There was silence for a few seconds.

"What?!"

From then on he was Thomas Danger Minecraft.

Phil prepared lunch for himself and his sons. Tommy was sitting in a highchair near the walkway with playing blocks. The twins were in their rooms doing whatever eight year olds did. The baby watched his father while chewing on the block.

He threw his hands up and babbled incoherent words. Phil laughed while listening to his baby speech. Tommy started giggling and kicking his legs.

"Tommy no no, you're gonna hurt yourself." The baby paid no attention and started swaying with the music coming from Wilbur's room. The high chair started rocking side to side with him.

"Tommy. Careful!" Phil picked the baby out of the high chair and worked to adjust the seat so it would move.

"Name?" Techno and Wilbur peaked out from the hallway. Phil sighed and held Tommy up.

"Very strange names ya got there." He laughed.

"Tommy Danger Careful Minecraft." Wilbur ticked the baby and laughed.

"This kid is going to be bullied."

Despite that, Techno only made it worse. Or better. Depends how you look at it.

They sat at the dinner table. Wilbur was talking about school stuff with their father while Techno fed Tommy. He wasn't really paying attention to what anyone was saying, more focusing on the mindless babbles because whatever the baby was trying to say seemed like the most important and interesting topic.

"Uhhhh Techno?"

"Yeah?"

"He's not actually saying anything."

"The voices understand him. They're translating." Phil hummed doubting it an returned back to eating.

"Y'know, you haven't given him a name yet." Wilbur pointed out. Techno shrugged and looked at the boy.

"Kraken."

"Kak'n!" Tommy repeated.

"You can't name him Kraken!"

"It has already been decided! He shall be named Kraken! Theseus Danger Kraken Careful Minecraft!"

"His name isn't even Theseus!"

"Fuck off! Let me call my favorite brother what I want!"

"Hey!"

"Both of you stop it. Techno what happened for you to name him this?"

"He said it!" He pointed at the baby that now had food dripping out of his mouth.

"Kak'n!"

"See!"
